We are committed to providing the very best outsourcing service to our

Keeping you up to date
We will keep you up to date with legislative changes and best practice
by giving you access to our wide range of useful guides and our annual
P11D guide. The recent introduction of Real Time Information
Reporting in the UK has meant fundamental changes to the PAYE
reporting system and we have worked closely with our existing clients
to keep them informed of all the necessary changes and ensure their
reporting obligations are being fulfilled.
The Belfast outsourcing team currently has over 80 payroll clients,
ranging from small employers with under 10 employees to larger
businesses with up to 300 employees. We offer a completely bespoke
payroll service and ensure that all client requests and queries are dealt
with in a timely, efficient and completely confidential manner.

Helen Allen will be your main contact in relation to the monthly payroll
service. She will ensure that all deadlines are met with minimum

For the year end payroll compliance reporting, we will work closely with
you to ensure that your employees receive their year end tax
documentation as early as possible.

PAYROLL MANAGEMENT PROCESS
We will provide you with a fully managed payroll service – simply give
Helen and her team the data each month and they will do the rest.
Our payroll service includes:

The creation and maintenance of payroll records for each
employee

Liaising with your office to collect the base payroll data from
which to process the payroll and expenses payments

Calculation of Income Tax and National Insurance deductions.

Processing of fixed, variable and temporary amendments such as
overtime, allowances, bonus payments, expenses, loans, advances
etc

Calculation of statutory payments and student loan payments.

Processing attachment of earnings orders

Dealing with any online secure messages sent to us by HMRC in
respect of your payroll

The submission of National Insurance Number ( NINO) verification
requests as appropriate to verify or obtain a NINO for a new
employee

Provision of forms P45 to leavers & processing of starters

Processing employee share options

The provision of monthly sage payroll & BACS reports to facilitate
payments to your employees and HMRC.

Submission of all required reports under Real Time Information to
include in year Full Payment Submission Reports ( FPS) and
Employer Payment Summaries ( EPS)

The provision of Employee Payslips ( secure /e-payslips if
requested)

The option of direct payments to your employees and related third
parties such as HMRC and pension providers

The option of bespoke journals to assist with your internal
financial reporting requirements

Year end compliance including the provision of forms P60,

Helen is a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant and member of the Chartered
Institute of Taxation. Helen has significant experience in HMRC tax investigations
including complex PAYE and subcontractor scheme negotiations.
Helen is a member of BDO's National Employment Taxation Group and her areas of
expertise include tax and social security planning for internationally mobile
employees, cross border taxation issues and termination payments.

Peter is a qualified Chartered Accountant and member of the Chartered Institute of
Taxation, dealing primarily with corporate, capital and international tax issues. His
experience of international tax assignments and extensive connections with BDO offices
around the world have assisted in constructing numerous international trading and
investment platforms. Peter is responsible for the day-to-day running of the
employment solutions department, providing growing companies with access to share
option schemes and advanced remuneration planning techniques

Leanne is the Payroll Manager within BDO Northern Ireland and is responsible for
managing the payroll services for 80+ companies, with employee numbers ranging from
1-300. Leanne also deals with other PAYE matters including PAYE Dispensations, PAYE
Settlement Agreements, Employer Compliance Inspections and completion of P11D
forms. Leanne has 13 years payroll experience working with a wide variety of clients.
She gained her Advance Professional Diploma in payroll management in 2007 and is a
management member of the Payroll Alliance and also a member of the Institute of
Accounting Technicians in Ireland.

payroll processing experience. Jennifer has considerable experience within all areas
of employment taxation including remuneration planning and dealing with benefits

Helen joined the payroll team in July 2012. She is a member of the Association of
Taxation Technicians and has over 7 years’ payroll processing experience. Helen also
