Science of Flight 3915 • Level: 5.0 • Grades: 9 - 12 • Periods/Cycle: 6 1st year students do not have to wear the Air Force Uniform! • Prerequisites: None • Can earn college credits through Adam State University for taking this course. • Course Description: – Students will learn how airplanes fly, human physiology of flight, and the effects of weather on aircraft. – Students will have the opportunity to use the flight simulator and build model aircraft. – There are numerous field trips available throughout the year. Frontiers of Aviation 3905 • Level: 5.0 • Grades: 10 - 12 • Periods/Cycle: 6 1st year students do not have to wear the Air Force Uniform! • Prerequisites: None • Can earn college credits through Adam State University for taking this course. • Course Description: – Students will learn how flight has evolved through science. – Students will have the opportunity to use computer models and simulators. – There are numerous field trips available throughout the year.
