Who is pele?
• Pele was born in Tres coracoes in brazil on October
23rd 1940.
• He lived with a family who loved soccer, Pele’s
father was a player himself. He played for fluminese
he was known as Dondinho.
• Being in this atmosphere pele enjoyed playing
football a lot.

information
• When Pele’s father quit playing football because of a
knee injury it made it really hard for Pele’s family.
• Pele carried on training but because he didn’t have
enough money to buy a real ball he had to use a stuffed
sock.
• After forming a shoeless tem with the street kids. They all
participated in a youth tournament. Pele ended up as top
goal scorer and was immediately noticed by a former
Brazilian international waldemar. This former Brazilian
waldemar offered Pele money if he played for them.
What club, team or country
did pele play for???
• When Pele was 16 he joined the Santos team he led
his team to numerous championships and the
Brazilian international team to world championships
in 1958. Soon enough he retired from the Santos
team and played in the United States with the New
York Cosmos.
What does pele do to make
him so good?
• Pele is said to be very good at football because of
the huge amount of goals also he was said to be
talented at football. He started of as a kid down the
street that plays with some other kids and soon
enough he became one of the best players in the
world.
• Pele has very quick feet and is very skilled he can
tackle very well and makes good decisions about
where he needs to be during the game. He also
takes the ball of people without them even knowing.
Why do I enjoy
watching Pele?
• I like watching him because I think he has very good
skills and he has fast feet. When you watch him he
scores a goal without you even knowing it.
• I enjoy watching this player because I like to see his
moves and how he does his very cool tricks.
Hopefully that should help me improve playing
football. BUT I think it would take me a long time to
manage to be like him!!!!!!!!!

• Do you have any children that take after you?
• Did kicking a stuffed sock feel like kicking a real
football?
• I would ask these questions because they are the
questions that I want to know the answer to and
because they would give me more information about
the Pele.
