A range of CPD opportunities exploring the music in the new curriculum, the use of digital media, assessment and
singing. The days all involve a mix of demonstration, presentation, discussion and hands on work with pupils.

assessment (success criteria, peer/self assessment etc), active learning (strategies to help learning stick)

Summary
In partnership with Bath Spa University a full PGCE programme of initial teacher training including opportunities to
specialise in SEND, English, Early Years and music.
North Wiltshire SCITT operated under the banner of NWTSA. We offer QTS and PGCE in primary and a range of
seceondary subjects
In partnership with Gloucester University a full PGCE programme of initial teacher training, with opportunities to
work across four local authorities, a wide range of rural and city, and large and small schools.
A programme of core and optional sessions including: English, maths, computing, PSHE, EYFS. Appropriate
Training for Induction Tutors. Appropriate Body for NQT assessment.
A school-based modular induction programme which includes: outstanding T&L, the creative curriculum,
questioning, SEND, behaviour,maths, English, AFL, computing, outdoor learning, readiness for subject leadership.
School centres sessions broadly covering all the Professional Standards for teachers with a proven track record of
developing NQTs
