Bell ringers: Global Scholar questions and text book readings and research.
Standards: Identify the process of chromosome reduction in the production of sperm and egg cells during meiosis.
(2) Identify the differences between DNA and RNA.
Teaching Strategies and Methods:
Teacher will use whiteboard to give notes, students will take notes.
Student will label and color the stages of meiosis.
Students will watch a video on meiosis and cell division.
Students will complete vocabulary, 2 worksheets and a concept map on meiosis.
