10 Jun 15, 1055 hours. Deceptive Practice. 7538 W Winnemac. Victim came into the station and stated an unk off(s) had used his Visa credit card in
three different jurisdictions. HHPD Detective Division investigating.
15 Jun 15, 1714 hours. Deception/ Credit cards. 6602 W Montrose. Victim stated that unk off(s) had used her Merrick Visa card in the amount of
$475.00. Victim cancelled card and HHPD Detective Division investigating.
Burglary / Thefts / Criminal Damage to Property
27 May 15, 1545 hours. Retail Theft. 7401 W Lawrence Ave. (Mariano’s). Loss Prevention agent stated on 2 occasions this date CCTV showed 3 F/B subjects
take $638.00 worth of Ciroc Vodka without paying by placing the bottles inside purses then leaving the store entering a maroon 4 door Pontiac Grand Prix IL
plate # V752030. HHPD Detective Division investigating.
28 May 15, 0106 hours. Burglary. 5124 N. Harlem Ave. (Smoke Depot). HHPD patrol officer observed a suspicious subject in the parking lot at the above
location with a bandana covering his face. Upon investigating the area he observed the glass door was shattered of the store and the same subject was inside
removing item from the shelf. The subject was then placed into custody and ID as a Olsen, Daniel M M/W 19 YOA, 5100 N Sayre, Chicago who was charged
with Felony Burglary.
1 Jun 15, 1810 hours. Retail Theft. 7401 W Lawrence Ave (Mariano’s). Loss prevention agent stated that the incident occurred on 16 May 15, 1428 hours and
was recorded by the CCTV that 4 F/H subjects and 1 M/H subject used a motorized shopping scooter cart to conceal liquor, toilet paper, shampoo,
mouthwash totaling $223.55 and that they left the store without paying for said items. All subjects then entered a black 2010 Nissan Pathfinder Armada IL
plate # K958546 leaving the lot. HHPD Detective Division investigating.
1 Jun 15, 1753 hours. Retail Theft. 7401 W Lawrence Ave. (Mariano’s). Loss Prevention agent stated a M/W subject around 20-25 YOA wearing a red/white
plaid shirt, blue jeans and black converse gym shoes removed 10 packages of Gillette Fusion razor blades concealing them within his shirt then left the store
without paying for said items. CCTV recorded entire incident. HHPD Detective Division investigating.
1 Jun 15, 0246 hours. Criminal Damage to Property. 4627 N Newland Ave. Owner stated his girlfriend had damaged his garage service door attempting to
remove belongings and forced her way in. Victim stated he just wished to document the incident and signed a refusal to prosecute form.
5 Jun 15, 1159 hours. 4811 N Olcott Ave. Criminal Defacement of Property. An agent for Clock Tower Pointe condos stated that unk off(s) had used spray
paint writing graffiti on the buildings alcove walls.
5-8 Jun 15, 1425 hours. Burglary to Motor Vehicle. 4600 block Newland Ave. Victim stated that unk off(s) had punched out the rear key lock on his white
2006 Chevy C/K 2500 van and removed work tools, unk amount from inside.
8 Jun 15, 1320 hours. Retail Theft. 7401 W Lawrence Ave. (Mariano’s). Loss Prevention agent stated that 2 F/B subjects had taken 4 bottles of Ciroc vodka
and 1 bottle of 1800 reserve placing them inside of purses then left the store without paying. Offenders believed to be the same as in the last bulletin.

7 Jun 15, 1500 hours. Residential Burglary. 5121 N Oketo Ave. Victim stated he was approached by a M/W subject, unk age, 5’7” tall, 170 LBS, green hat, sun
glasses, stubble on face, sweatshirt who asked him about doing work on his neighbors fence. Subject then left in a black full size van, unk plate #. Victim later
learned that someone had entered his home while he was distracted and opened closets and drawers taking $550.00 in U.S.C and jewelry. HHPD Detective
Division investigating.
8 Jun 15, 1730-1900 hours. Motor Vehicle Theft. 4448 N Narragansett. Victim stated unk off(s) had taken his silver 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle IL plate
# DD1612 valued at $10,000.00. HHPD Detective Division investigating.
11 Jun 15, 1507 hours. Retail Theft. 7401 W Lawrence. (Mariano’s). Loss prevention agent stated a M/W subject 20to 25 YOA concealed several Gillette
razors within his blue/gray plaid shirt worth $386.63 then left store without paying for them. Incident captured on CCTV and was similar to an incident that
occurred on 1 Jun 15. HHPD Detective Division investigating incident.
9-12 Jun 15, 0900-0647 hours. Motor Vehicle Theft. 7200 W Lawrence. Victim stated that unk off(s) had taken his red 2002 Ford ZX2 IL Plate # E694643 from
the parking lot.
11 Jun 15, 2058 hours. Retail Theft. 7401 W Lawrence. (Mariano’s). Loss Prevention agent stated that 2 F/H and 1 M/H had taken 2 bottles of Croc vodka
valued at $63.98 and concealed it on their person and a purse and left the store without paying. Incident captured on CCTV. HHPD Detective Division
investigating.
15 Jun 15, 0530-1130 hours. Theft from Motor Vehicle. 7315 W Wilson. Victim stated that unk off(s) had taken his white 2000 Olds Alero drivers side mirror.
18 Jun 15, 1252 hours. Retail Theft. 7401 W Lawrence. (Mariano’s). Loss Prevention agent stated a M/W subject had placed meat and other items that valued
$136.24 inside a Mariano’s carry bag and left the store without paying. Agent attempted to stop the subject who then threw the bag with items taken back
inside the store and left the area on foot. CCTV later showed that the offender had previously arrived in the North lot near a 4 door Audi IL plate# R406489
which was left in the lot. The subject later returned to his vehicle and was stopped by HHPD officers. Placed into custody for Retail Theft was a Naughton,
Alex A M/W 25 YOA, 420 Harvey Ave, Desplaines on a signed Misdemeanor complaint.
17-18 Jun 15, 2200-0900 hours. Criminal Damage to Property. 4748 N Newcastle Ave. Victim stated he suspects his neighbor and his friends are damaging his
garage with broken bottles and fireworks. Victim informed to contact police when the subjects are on his property or if they are using illegal fireworks.
23 Jun 15, 1651-1701 hours. Theft. 7511 W Ainslie alley. Victim stated that unk off(s) had taken 2 bicycles that where parked by the garage. 1 was a blue
children’s Mongoose bike valued at $100.00. 2 was a black unk brand ten speed, unk value.
23 Jun 15, 0847-0904 hours. Retail Theft. 7401 W Lawrence. (Mariano’s). Loss prevention agent stated a F/W heavy build, brown hair, white sunglasses, black
T-shirt concealed numerous cosmetics inside a tan bag valued at $297.31 and left store without paying. CCTV showed her leaving the lot in a silver Chevy
Cavalier with unk temp plate. HHPD Detective division investigating.
24-25 Jun 15, 1814-1715 hours. Retail Theft. 7401 W Lawrence (Mariano’s). Loss Prevention agent stated he was holding a M/W subject later ID as a Frett,
David C 29 YOA, 7503 W Ainslie HH who on 2 occasions had taken $93.16 worth of beer and whiskey from the store without paying for it. Both incidents
captured on CCTV. Mr. Frett was placed into custody and charged with 2 counts of Retail Theft on signed Misdemeanor complaints.
23-26 Jun 15, 1400-2137 hours. Burglary to Motor Vehicle. 4605 N Newland Ave. Victim stated that unk off(s) had entered his silver 2007 Dodge Charger and
removed his $1,700.00 Pioneer touch screen navigation system.
29 Jun 15, 0401-0456 hours. Burglary. 7171 W Gunnison. (Montclair towers apartments). Complainant stated 2 M/W subjects had taken computers and a
television from the basement computer and theater room. Both subjects observed on CCTV wearing dark hoodies and gloves. HHPD detective Division
investigating.
29 Jun 15, 1252-1255 hours. Retail Theft. 7401 W Lawrence. (Mariano’s). Loss Prevention agent stated a M/W subject wearing a black and white Chicago
Blackhawks cap, blue T-shirt, khaki shorts, green neon gym shoes removed 4 bottles of Jack Daniels gentleman’s whiskey valued at $123.96 and placed them
inside of a bag leaving the store without paying. Incident captured on CCTV. HHPD Detective Division investigating.
30 Jun 15, 1145-1159 hours. Retail Theft. 7401 W Lawrence. (Mariano’s). Loss Prevention agent stated a M/W subject wearing a white shirt with a unk design
on the left chest area, dark workout pants with a white stripe placed 5 packages of Ensure and a case of Stella beer in a cart then left the store without
paying valued at $57.44. Subject entered a beige Honda IL plate # V219403. Incident captured on CCTV. HHPD Detective Division investigating.
Crimes against Persons
7 Jun 15, 2115 hours. Domestic Battery. 4373 N Oak Park Ave. Victim stated he was involved in a physical altercation with his father who
pushed and tackled him. Placed into custody for Domestic Battery was a Bohman, Martin J M/W 59 YOA on a signed Misdemeanor
complaint.
10 Jun 15, 1736 hours. Disorderly Conduct. 6400 W Montrose Ave. (McDonald’s). Store manager stated a M/W subject later ID as a
Tenorio, John M M/W 38 YOA, 2485 Pleasant, Dekalb had exposed himself to her as she was exiting the bathroom. Manager refused to
prosecute but had him posted from the store.
11 Jun 15, 1115 hours. Possession of Cannabis/Traffic offenses. 4600 block of Nagle Ave. Driver stopped for speeding / no DL. Search led
to contraband found in vehicle. A McFadden, Elizabeth A F/W 28 YOA, 5351 W Warwick Chicago was placed into custody for Possession
of Cannabis and traffic offenses.
27 Jun 15, 0857 hours. Domestic Battery. 4343 N Sayre Ave. Witness stated that a M/W and F/W subject were fighting in the street.
HHPD officers located the vehicle and learned that the F/W had scratched up her boyfriend’s face and right wrist and forearm. Placed
into custody for Domestic Battery was a Holm, Amy 23 YOA, 4343 N Sayre. HH.
Seniors
Home repair scams/ Ruse burglaries. Reminder: Do not allow anyone into your residence that you do not know and didn’t call for service.
Scam artists knock on your door offering to repair something in or around your home for a very low price. They ask you to pay upfront and you
will never see them again or if you allow them inside your residence, they will distract you and steal your valuables.
All Village Employees/PublicWworks have IDs on them at all times. Ask for ID and call 911 for verification.
