Tropical Rainforests are found around the equator (tropical regions) mostly between the
Tropic Of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn.
Temperate Rainforests are located along a number of coastlines within the temperate
Zones.

Rainforests are a thick humid jungle, that acquires a decent amount of annual
rainfall.
Why are Rainforest important to us?
Rainforests are very important in the global ecosystem since it provides a
home for many plants and animals, to help with the worlds climate by
taking in carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen, rainforests are also a
supply of medicines and food and are also a home for tribal people.
What is the Difference Between Tropical And Temperate Rainforests?
The difference between tropical and temperate rainforests is , in a tropical
rainforests it is a hot humid climate because it is located near the equator
but where as temperate rainforests are located in the temperate zones
and there for makes it a cooler climate.

Where Are The Deserts?
Most hot and dry deserts are located near the tropic of cancer And tropic of Capricorn.

What is a desert?
A desert is scorching hot and often sandy region with extremely hot temperatures
and low humidity. Most Deserts contain little or no vegetation. In a desert you
would have very hot days and cold nights. The desert is made of sand it can also
consists of rocky terrain or flat salts.
Why are Deserts so important to us?
Deserts are very important to us because there are manly rare plants and animals
that have adapted to be able to survive in the harsh desert environment, which
makes it a very unique region.
Who Lives In the Desert?
There may be inhabitants of the desert for eg. In Australia-Indigenous Australians
(Aborigines), but the desert is also a home for the animals and plants, ag camels
and cactus; Which both can live with out water for long periods of time.
Wetlands
Where Are Wetlands?
Wetlands are found in different parts of the world which are Canada, North America , Africa
Asia, Europe, Central and South America and Australia. Africa has the most wetlands than
The other continents.

A wetland is an area of damp saturated soil fill with plenty of wildlife
Why are wetlands so important to us?
Wetlands play important part in nature for the following reasons: They
provide a home for wildlife in the area, wetlands also prevent flooding by
holding in water which keeps the river level normal and purify the surface
water. Also many animals use the wetlands for migration and
reproduction.
Who Lives in Wetlands?
A large Variety of rare plants and animals live in the wetlands, Great Blue
Heron, chorus frog and the painted turtle are just a few of the animals
that live in the wetlands.
