Media Presentation Create a media presentation using Powerpoint (or a similar program). Your presentation will include various aspects of the American Revolution. You will have a total of 12 slides with an original script for each slide. The following categories should be included: 3 Important People (1 British/Loyalist, 1 Patriot/American, 1 female), 3 Battles, 3 Events Leading to the Revolution, and 3 Interesting/Unusual/Fun Facts. The slides and script must be organized in chronological order or by topic. 4. American Revolution Trading Cards Many people collect and trade baseball, football, and other sports cards. You will create a collection of revolutionary era trading cards. You should have a total of 5 cards- 2 British/Loyalist, 2 American/Patriot, 1 Woman. You will fill out a brief biographical information sheet as you research each person. Then you will incorporate important facts from the information sheet to create the back of your trading card. American Revolution Board Game You will design a kid friendly, colorful, and interactive board game based on events leading up to the American Revolution or on the battles of the Revolution. You have creative freedom in creating the type of game as well as the name of it, the game pieces, and how it is played. You will need to have a game board, game pieces, questions and answers, and rules. People must be able to play this game without you having to explain it in great detail. (examples- Candyland, Monopoly, Clue, Trivial Pursuit) The questions you use in your game should be upper level questions related to the Revolutionary Era. 6. 3-D Model Your will create a 3-D model. You will need to select an important event or battle which occurred just before or during the American Revolution. After you choose the event, you will need to create a model of what happened, and you will also need to have a one page written or typed summary of the event. Some of your choices could include, but are not limited to: Boston Massacre, Boston Tea Party, Battle of Bunker Hill, Valley Forge, and Yorktown.
