I received information in regard to Quest Bridge National College Match for seniors on 9-3-13.
The deadline to apply online is 9-27-13. Quest Bridge seeks academically strong low income
seniors to connect them with educational and scholarship opportunities at some of the nation's

I received information in regard to the Daniels Fund Scholarship on 9-4-13. The deadline to
apply online is November 15th. If you have a track record of character, leadership, and a
commitment to your community, then you may be eligible. Visit the counseling office for more
information.

I received information in regard to the Wendy's High School Heisman on 9-18-13. The
deadline to apply online is 10-2-13. If you have at least a B average and participate in at
least one school sponsored sport, you may be eligible. Please stop by the counseling


I received information in regard to the Jefferson Scholars Foundation on 9-23-13. The deadline
to apply is 12-1-13. This program is merit based (grades, test scores) and will provide 200,000
dollars to attend the University of Virginia. For more information, please stop by the counseling

I received a college financial planning packet from Wells Fargo on 9-23-13. This
informational packet can provide a wide variety of important information on being
financially prepared for college. If you would like copies of these materials, please stop

I received information in regard to FastWeb on 9-23-13. FastWeb is a free college match
service that also provides scholarship and financial aid information. For more details,

I received information in regard to the P.E.O. STAR Scholarship on 9-25-13. The deadline to
apply for nomination consideration is 10-10-13. This scholarship requires a 3.0 GPA, community
service, and extracurricular participation. For more information, please stop by the counseling

I received information in regard to the Sullivan Leadership Award on 10-11-13. This award
provides a four year scholarship to Seattle University. It requires academic excellence, service,
leadership, and global engagement. The deadline for all admissions and scholarship materials is

I received information in regard to a considerable tuition reduction at Seton Hall University on
10-11-13. Candidates must have a minimum 27 ACT score and be in the top 10% of their class.

scholarships and awards on 10-16-13. There is no specific deadline, however they
encourage early application as this money is available for a limited time. Please stop by

Cowboy Kickoff is here! The University of Wyoming will be here on November 14, 2013 from
11:00-3:30. Sign up for your 10 minute time slot in the counseling office. Please be sure to bring
a transcript so the representative can provide you with an admission decision on the spot. I will
visit with seniors in study labs on 11-5 and provide more detail.
A Casper College representative will be here on 11-25-13 at 11:30 am. She will answer any
questions you may have about the college and can admit you on the spot if you provide a

I received information in regard to the Alert Magazine Scholarship on 11-14-13. The award is
$500 and is based on the writing of a 650-800 word essay about a personal encounter with

I received information on 1-6-14 in regard to the 2014 Society for American Baseball Research
Scholarship. For more information, please stop by the counseling office. This scholarship
provides two 2,500 dollar awards through the use of an essay writing contest. The deadline is 324-14.

I received information in regard to Western Nebraska Community College Vocal and
Instrumental music scholarships on 1-6-14. For more information, please stop by the counseling
office or speak with your music teacher. These scholarships require auditions and take place
January 23, 24, 30, and 31.
I received information in regard to the Town and Country Garden Scholarship on 1-6-14. The
deadline to apply is 4-4-14. This is a 250 dollar scholarship provided to one student with an
interest in majoring in horticulture, botany, forestry, landscape design, or a related field. Please

I received information in regard to the Wyoming Trucking Scholarship on 1-6-14. The deadline to
apply is 3-4-14. This scholarship provides multiple awards ranging from 500 to 1500 dollars.
Students must be enrolled in courses that will lead to a career in the transportation industry in

I received information in regard to the Wyoming Chapter of ARMA Scholarship on 1-6-14. The
deadline to apply is 4-1-14. Students must be pursuing a career in business, records and or

I received information on the Wheatland Kiwanis Club Scholarship on 1-8-14. The deadline to
apply is 4-16-14. These scholarships will provide up to three 500 dollar awards for qualifying

I received information in regard to the Platte County Chamber of Commerce Scholarship on 1-914. The deadline to apply is 3-15-14. This is a 500 dollar scholarship given to a graduate of a

deadline to apply is 4-1-14. This is a 500 dollar scholarship that will be awarded to a student
from a current Farm Bureau family in Platte County. Please stop by the counseling office for

I received information in regard to the Livingston Family-H.J. King Memorial Scholarships on 1-914. These awards range from 500 dollars up to 1500. These scholarships are awarded to
students of Farm Bureau family's that are attending Wyoming colleges. Please stop by the

I received information in regard to the Wyoming Association of Educational Support Staff
Scholarship on 1-14-14. The deadline for applications is 3-31-14. This is a 500 dollar award given

deadline for applications is 4-1-14. This is a 500 dollar award given to a graduate of a Platte

Western Nebraska Community College is hosting a Criminal Justice Career Day on February 12th.

I received information in regard to the Wyoming Elks Association Scholarship on 1-23-14. The
deadline for all three scholarships is 3-1-14. The applications can be downloaded at

I received information in regard to the Wyoming Game Wardens Association Scholarship on 123-14. The deadline for applications is 3-1-14. The award is 350 dollars and can be used at any

The deadline for applications is 4-1-14. The awards are 500 dollars and are provided to Platte
