consists of state’s courts. Their role is to
interpret the state constitution, protect
the legal rights of citizens, and enforce the
laws of the state.
Create a visual organizer that explains

behavior and unruly behavior and the
consequences for each.
Create a chart that demonstrates the

Explain the seven delinquent behaviors
that can subject juvenile offenders to the

to transfer to adult court is made, and the
possible consequences.

explanation of how the courts insure
justice and interpret laws.

interpreting laws and justice through the
court system.
Describe the rights of juveniles when
taken into custody.
Create a poster that lists the rights of
juveniles who have been taken into
custody. Students should illustrate their
poster to make it more understandable
and more appealing to juveniles.
Describe the juvenile court system and the
jurisdiction that the court has over
different types of cases.

explain the types of cases that are have

sure to explain or define each step of the
