Warm Up: Ch 1 Truth or Fiction
Lesson:
-Read “Life in Society” article at the beginning of Chapter 1
-Define sociology
-Notes on sociology and the sociological imagination
-bios of early sociologists
Students will be put into pairs and asked to create a one page bio sheet with picture of an early
sociologist
-notes on current perspectives in sociology
