SOL REVIEW Online practice
Directions: Below are the websites that the students should access in order to complete their nightly homework. The
student should be able to click on the link to access the webpage. If there is a problem with internet access, “Backup
Homework” assignments should be completed for the night, dated, and given to the teacher.
For the Math site: Please have your child EMAIL me their results. On the page that shows the results, there is a box that
asks whether you would like your results emailed. My email address should be entered there:
Michele.fouch@lcps.org . Also, please write the score in the box on the homework chart and have the parent initial.

Access the website at http://education.jlab.org/solquiz/.
Check “Math 4” AND click “5 questions.”
You MUST type your NAME or I will not know who the results are from.
Click the YELLOW “Select additional options” button.
Click GREEN “Next options” button.
Click GREEN “Next options” button on this screen as well.
Then click the strand from the chart below.
Click “Let’s Start.”
Answer each question. Work out every problem and try your best.
At the end of the questions, a screen will come up with a place for you to email results. Type in
this address: Michele.fouch@lcps.org .
11. Write down your score on the homework chart.
Instructions for the Reading site: At the end of the practice, write down the score in the box on the homework chart.
You are not able to email these results.



For the History site: Access the page for the specific SOL and play at least four games each week. Have the parent initial
that this was done as there is no “results” page for this website.


As in the past, homework will be checked on FRIDAY, so it can be done on any of the nights of the week. Students may
also do more than the assigned work. For example, the student may do 10 math problems instead of 5.
