VERBS: ESTAR and SER
Ser and Estar (when conjugated) both can mean “am,” “is,” or “are.”
In Spanish, ser is used when the thing described is more permanent
(ex: The table is red. = La mesa es roja.)
Estar is used when the thing described is more temporary OR when saying someone is
doing something.
(ex: The table is broken. La mesa está rota. She is Reading. = Ella está leyendo.)
