them sleeping, and said to Peter, "So, you men could not keep
watch with Me for one hour? 41 "Keep watching and praying
that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit is willing,
but the flesh is weak."
 James 1:13-15 Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am being
tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He
Himself does not tempt anyone. 14 But each one is tempted
when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust. 15
Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when
sin is accomplished, it brings forth death.
 1 John 2:15-16 Do not love the world nor the things in the
world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not
in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and
the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from
the Father, but is from the world.

brethren in all things, so that He might become a merciful and
faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make
propitiation for the sins of the people. 18 For since He Himself
was tempted in that which He has suffered, He is able to come
to the aid of those who are tempted.
 Hebrews 4:15-16 For we do not have a high priest who cannot
sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been
tempted in all things as we are, [yet without sin.] 16
Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the [throne of
grace], so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in
time of need.

Wretched man that I am! Who will set me free from
the body of this death? 25 Thanks be to God through
Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, on the one hand I
myself with my mind am serving the law of God, but
on the other, with my flesh the law of sin. 8:1
Therefore there is now no condemnation for those
who are in Christ Jesus. 2 For the law of the Spirit of
life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin
and of death.
