Come and worship God,
who promises justice and peace for all.
Come and worship our loving God. Let us pray together:
OPENING PRAYER
God of promise, hope and salvation, creator of heaven and earth,
we give you thanks for visions of hope and rejoicing, health and long

PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLE
Gracious and loving God,
you call us your people and promise to delight in us.
We thank you for the many ways
that we have felt your presence during difficult times,
felt your direction in moments of confusion,
felt your comfort in times of sickness or grief,
felt your pleasure through our own meaningful work.
We thank you, God, for blessings we have known,
and for your gracious promises for our future.
God, we ask for your presence with those among us
in need of your comforting breath, your healing touch,
your guiding hand, your assurance
that we are indeed your loved and valued children.
Help us to rejoice in the world you have created
and the new world you are creating.
Help us to trust in your glorious vision
of the future you promise to bring about.
Empower us to labour in love
for your new heaven and new earth.
We pray for that day to come;
In the name of the One who taught us to pray saying:

THE LORD’S PRAYER
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy
kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us
this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive
those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but
deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom, the power and the
glory, forever and ever. Amen.
HYMN
“Make Me A Channel”

OFFERTORY and PRESENTATION OF OUR GIFTS
INVITATION
It might not look like much, that little white envelope with your offering
and your number, but it is profound. Your gifts have the power of
incredible social change. Be profound... present your gifts. And thank
you to those who give monthly through PAR!
*THE DOXOLOGY:
Praise God from whom all blessings flow;
praise God, all creatures high and low;
give thanks to God in love made known:
Creator, Word and Spirit, One.
541
*THE OFFERTORY PRAYER: (all)
Loving God, thank you for giving us the opportunity to give, which
we do with joyful, grateful hearts. We look at the needs of the world,
and our offerings are small.
May they be like yeast,
gifts that grow in your kingdom, bringing a rich harvest of
righteousness. We pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
*CLOSING HYMN
“I See a New Heaven”
*COMMISSIONING and BENEDICTION
Go out into the world in peace;
have courage; hold on to what is good;
return no one evil for evil;
strengthen the fainthearted;
713
support the weak, and help the suffering;
honour all people; love and serve the Lord,
rejoicing in the power of the Holy Spirit,
Now and always. Amen.
*SUNG BLESSING:
Go now in peace. Never be afraid.
God will go with you each hour of everyday.
Go now in faith, steadfast, strong and true.
Know He will guide you in all you do.
Go now in love, and show you believe.
Reach out to others so all the world can see.
God will be there watching from above.
Go now in peace, in faith, and in love.
Amen. Amen. Amen.
