Although this is counted as a quiz, this is a great time to start preparing for the end-of-the- unit test that
will be in February and will include adding and subtracting decimals and fractions.
The student will need to:

Identify Vocabulary:
o Numerator
o Denominator
o Fraction Bar
o Division
o Lowest Common Denominator
o Greatest Common Factor
o Factor
o Multiple
Compare fractions with like and unlike denominators (having denominators less than 12)
Order Fractions with like and unlike denominators (Having denominators less than 12)
Plot fractions on a number line (with like and unlike denominators)
Put fractions in simplest form using the Greatest Common Factor
Use the Lowest Common Denominator to compare and order fractions
Use models to write fraction names
Use models to compare fractions
