COURSE DESCRIPTION
Through realistic use of the language, the student will learn to communicate in oral and written form on a variety of everyday topics. The student will
also read and listen to material from a variety of sources in the target language while gaining knowledge of the various cultures where the target
language is spoken.

Expectations for Academic Success

Use SPANISH and participate and listen during class
activities. It is expected that all students will
attempt to speak Spanish at all times during class.
Do not socialize, speak English, sleep or do other
work.
Respect the right to learn of all students. Respect
the teacher, others, and yourself by appropriate
classroom behavior.
Come to class prepared to learn. Bring necessary
materials to class each day.
All students are expected to obey the discipline
expectations and rules set by Brookwood High
School and Gwinnett County.
a. Be on time for class. Students who are
late will be sent to the TAP table.
b. NO candy, gum, food or drinks in the
classroom.
c. NO electronic devices: cell phones, iPods,
etc.
d. Make up work is to be completed in
accord with Brookwood High School
policy.
Attendance and participation are required.
Students are to be aware of the Brookwood High
School Honor Code and abide by the rules stated.
Academic honesty is expected on all assessments
and assignments.
