Russian aviation industry
• The aircraft industry consisted of 106
enterprises, 18 of which belonged to the
United Aircraft Corporation.
• One of the most successful companies is
Sukhoi (Su-27, Su-30 and Su-35 models).
• On the civilian segment, the company's
most important project is the Superjet
100.
• Joint Stock Company Tupolev focuses
on the civil aviation market with its Tu204 and Tu-214 planes, but is also
responsible for the long-range bomber
Tu-160 and for developing its successors.

Space industry
• Space industry of Russia consists of
over 100 companies and employs
250,000 people.
• The largest company of Russia's
space industry is RKK Energiya. It is
the country's main human
spaceflight contractor, the lead
developer of the Soyuz-TMA and
Progress spacecraft and the Russian
end of the International Space
Station. It employs around 22,00030,000 people.

• Russian enterprises of agricultural engineering:
• Rostselmash - one of the world leaders in
agricultural engineering. It accounts for 65% of
Russian market of agricultural machinery and 17%
of the world market of this technique.
• Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant
• Cheboksary Aggregate Works
• Concern Tractor Plants - the largest tractor
manufacturer in Russia, bringing together most of
the plants producing this equipment in Russia.
• Voronezhselmash enterprise for production of
grain cleaning equipment, equipment for the
elevator complexes, arched hangars, optical sorters
grain.
Railway Engineering
Russian railway engineering companies that produce cars:
• Tver Carriage Works - produces passenger cars. Included in
Transmashholding;
• Uralvagonzavod - engaged in production of freight cars and
tanks;
• Altaivagon - engaged in production of freight cars and
tanks;
• Carriage Building Company of Mordovia - produces tanks;
• Vagonmash - engaged in production of passenger cars and
subway cars, it is a company Vagonmash.
• Kaliningrad Carriage Works;
• Torzhok Carriage Works - is engaged in production of
electric trains;
• Metrovagonmash - is a major manufacturer of subway cars
in Russia. Included in Transmashholding.
Railway Engineering
Release locomotives involved:
• Kolomna factory - manufactures locomotives,
included in Transmashholding;
• Novocherkassk Electric Locomotive Plant - company
Transmashholding;
• Bryansk Engineering Plant - included in
Transmashholding;
• Ural Locomotives - created in 2010 on the industrial
base of the Ural Railway Engineering Plant,
produces mainline freight locomotives, began
production of high-speed trains modifications
"Swallow", is a joint venture of Sinara Group and
Siemens;
• Sinara Transport Machines - part of the Sinara
Group, manufactures shunting locomotives.
