We are delighted to inform you about a great opportunity for 2014-2015 Juniors and Seniors: the Bank of America Student
Leaders Program. This program recognizes outstanding young people who lead and serve in their school, community and
beyond. Bank of America will connect Student Leaders to tools and resources that will help them make communities
better. Once selected, Student Leaders will:




Participate in an eight-week, hands-on, experiential summer internship with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida, a
non-profit organization www.bgccf.org (June – August 2015)
Attend a week-long, all-expenses-paid Student Leadership Summit in Washington, D.C. (July 2015)
Develop valuable civic, social, and business leadership skills

The Arts for Life! Scholarship Program annually awards $2,000 scholarships to 25 graduating high school seniors in Florida who
demonstrate excellence in visual art, music, dance, drama or creative writing. Launched by former First Lady Columba Bush in
1999, the program has awarded scholarships to more than 375 gifted high school seniors.
Application Deadline:
February 2, 2015
Eligibility:
Students who are graduating from a public, private or virtual school or a home education program in Florida in the Spring of 2015.
Application Process:
Students must submit a completed application, a brief essay explaining "How the arts have positively influenced my life" and a
portfolio of work in visual art, music, dance, drama or creative writing. Students can apply online at

College Matching Program:
In addition to the program's $2,000 cash award, winners will be automatically eligible to receive a matching in-kind scholarship
worth a minimum of $1,000 if they attend one of the participating Florida institutions for higher education: Broward College,
College of Central Florida, Flagler College, Florida College, Florida Atlantic University, Florida Institute of Technology, Florida
Southern College, Jacksonville University, Miami Dade College, Nova Southeastern University, Stetson University, and University
of Florida.

Florida Engineering Society
Students interested in scholarships offered by the Florida Engineering Socie should visit our web page at
http://www.fleng.org/scholarships.cfm. There, they should download the scholarship application and guidelines. The application is in the form
of an Excel spreadsheet which the student should complete by entering all of the requested data into the spreadsheet (note the various
worksheet tabs) and save the file to a FLASH/Jump Drive. Applications should include the following items:
1. A FLASH/Jump Drive with their completed Excel spreadsheet application.
2. A hard copy of the completed and signed high school scholarship application Certification Page.
3. An official copy of their transcripts that include their class standing (if the transcripts do not list their class standing for the last
completed semester then a signed letter from the principal or guidance counselor stating the size of the class and the student’s
standing in it will be acceptable).
4. A copy of any IB, AICE and/or AP exam results.
5. A copy of any SAT or ACT exam results.

Lighthouse Guild offers an annual scholarship program for college-bound high school students who are legally blind. The

Community Foundation of South Lake
CFSLC is the home to eight scholarship funds totaling over $250,000. Each year, we administer and award 20
scholarships totaling $55,500 to aspiring college students from high schools in the South Lake community. Each
of our 2014 scholarship recipients are unique and inspiring in their own right. This year, we had the privilege of
awarding scholarships to students from East Ridge High School, Lake Minneola High School, Montverde Academy,
and South Lake High School.
Any student interested in applying for a scholarship should familiarize themselves with both the various
scholarships offered and the specific eligibility requirements prior to completing the online application.

Florida State University is pleased to present the application for the Service Scholar Program. The Service Scholar
Program recognizes select incoming students with an outstanding record of community service and leadership, and
who want to continue that commitment at FSU. The Program benefits include a scholarship valued at $2,400 per year
for up to four years, participation in a service-learning academic curriculum, exposure to a diverse group of individuals
and social issues, and support by faculty and staff.

Congress/ Bundestag Vocational Exchange Scholarship
This scholarship provides an opportunity for 25 graduating seniors from across the US to spend one year in
Germany learning the German culture and exploring their career interests. Each high school may nominate
THREE students; those nominated should possess the maturity and commitment necessary to be successful in an
international exchange program. Previous study of German is not a prerequisite for the scholarship selection.

The AXA Achievements Scholarship offers college scholarships of $10,000 and $25,000 to high school seniors who have
demonstrated outstanding achievement in their activities in school, the community or the workplace. The scholarship is
sponsored by the AXA Foundation, in association with U.S. News & World Report.
The 2015 program will be accepting applications from September 8, 2014 until 10,000 applications are submitted
or 11:59 p.m. CST on December 15, 2014, whichever comes first. Your application MUST be one of the first 10,000

Aspiring Animation Professional" Scholarship Program

This is the 4th year we are awarding this scholarship for AnimationCareerReview.com. We are offering high school seniors the opportunity to

Eligibility
Any individual musician (instrumental or vocal) from the United States who has a disability, age 14-25 is eligible to apply.
Individual musicians should complete the Individual Musician Application Form.
Applications from musical ensembles (two to eight members) will be accepted and should complete the Ensemble Application
Form. This includes any type of ensemble from a rock band to a chamber ensemble to a drum corps. In order to be eligible, at least

Navy ROTC Scholarship
The NROTC scholarship provides full tuition and fees at 159 of our nation's most elite and

Susan G. Komen for the Cure College Scholarship Program - This scholarship is to help students who find attending
college a significant financial burden due to the loss of a parent or guardian to breast cancer or their own breast cancer
diagnosis at age 25 or younger.

The American Legion Legacy Scholarship - This scholarship is offered to high school seniors and college students whose
parents died in active duty in the military after September 11, 2001.
