Edvard Munch, a painter near the end of the 19th century, has often been compared with Vincent Van Gogh. Both painters use bright and exaggerated colors as well as simplistic figures and shapes. Both artists struggled with insanity during their lifetimes, and both artists created some of the most reproduced and famous pieces of art in the world today. MOVE TO SLIDE 5. Due Wednesday, 1/21 (revised & submitted) Write a letter to "Mama" In it, flashback and explain to her what actually happened. Your "story" should be credible. Write using the narrator's voice.
