It is important to understand the biblical promise for fullness and Sonship before we can broach the subject of the seven spirits of God. Why understand the Seven Spirits of God if we do not have a belief that we can possess them. Then we must understand the timing. Are we living in the age promised to inherit this destiny? We must see our biblical right to believe for this manifestation. Can we expect to do the works Jesus did with any less of a manifestation of His Spirit. What do the Old Testament types and shadows point to that match our New Testament promises? We can examine the lives of the forerunners and get a picture of what this life in God looks like. We do not preach prophetic messages from where we are but where we can be. We set a vision in front of the people and someone will apprehend it. Sonship & The Seven Spirits of God Matthew 3:16-17—After being baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove and lighting on Him, and behold, a voice out of the heavens said, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased.“ Romans 8:19—For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God's sons [huios] to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship]. AMP Huios Sons are Led by the Spirit Mark 1:10-12—Immediately coming up out of the water, He saw the heavens opening, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon Him; and a voice came out of the heavens: "You are My beloved Son, in You I am well-pleased. Immediately the Spirit impelled Him to go out into the wilderness. Fulfilling Isaiah’s Prophecy Isaiah 11:1-2 –Then a shoot will spring from the stem of Jesse, and a branch from his roots will bear fruit. The Spirit of the LORD will rest on Him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD. John 14:10 –Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on My own initiative, but the Father abiding in Me does His works. John 20:21-22—So Jesus said to them again, "Peace be with you; as the Father has sent Me, I also send you.“ And when He had said this, He breathed on them and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit. Earnest Vrs Fullness Ephesians 1:13-14—In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation-having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God's own possession, to the praise of His glory. Pledge/Earnest= arrhabon (ar-hrab-ohn'); of Hebrew origin; a pledge, i.e. part of the purchase-money or property given in advance as security for the rest: I John 3:2—Beloved, now we are children [teknon] of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. Tokens of Mature Sonship William Branham Maria Woodworth-Etter John G. Lake Kathryn Kuhlman Brother Lawrence Frances Metcalfe A. A. Allen Rolland Buck Living Beyond Until Ephesians 4:11-13—And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. Daniel 7:21-22—I kept looking, and that horn was waging war with the saints and overpowering them until the Ancient of Days came and judgment was passed in favor of the saints of the Highest One, and the time arrived when the saints took possession of the kingdom. Galatians 4:1-5—Now I say, as long as the heir is a child, he does not differ at all from a slave although he is owner of everything, but he is under guardians and managers until the date set by the father. So also we, while we were children, were held in bondage under the elemental things of the world. But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. Romans 11:25—For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery-- so that you will not be wise in your own estimation-- that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in; The Greater Works John 14:11-17—Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise believe because of the works themselves. Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it. If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you. Moving Beyond Pentecost Leviticus 23:16-17—You shall count fifty days to the day after the seventh sabbath; then you shall present a new grain offering to the LORD. You shall bring in from your dwelling places two loaves of bread for a wave offering, made of two-tenths of an ephah; they shall be of a fine flour, baked with leaven as first fruits to the LORD. Only Feast that allowed Leaven. Time now to put away corruption and move into fullness. Zerubbabel—A Type of Christ Zerubbabel=seed of Babylon or on sown in Babylon A legend preserved in the apocryphal book of 1 Esdras describes the young Zerubbabel as one of the wisest men in the Persian Empire, in a story reminiscent of the prophet Daniel. According to chapter 3:1-5:3 of this work, Zerubbabel and two other young guardsmen-courtiers of King Darius—agree to engage in a public dispute over the question of what is the strongest thing in the kingdom. The king approves of this contest and declares that the winner of the debate will receive great honor and royal favors. The first contestant holds that wine is the strongest thing in the kingdom, because "it leads astray the minds of all who drink it. It makes equal the mind of the king and the orphan, of the slave and the free, of the poor and the rich." The second debater declares that men are the strongest, ruling over both land and sea; but he flatteringly adds that the king is even stronger, because "he is their lord and master, and whatever he says to them they obey." Zerubbabel then ironically argues that it is women who are strongest, since they give birth to men and kings alike, and men leave their mothers and fathers to serve women. He then adds that truth is even stronger than women: "The whole earth calls upon truth, and heaven blesses her…. Truth endures and is strong for ever, and lives and prevails for ever and ever.“ The king concurs with Zerubbabel and, at the young Jew's request, appoints him to lead a wave of Jewish exiles from Babylon to Jerusalem to complete the restoration of the Temple. Zerubbabel is also given sanction to return the sacred vessels that the king had preserved. The Plumbline and the Seven Spirits Zechariah 4:10-11 –For who has despised the day of small things? But these seven will be glad when they see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel-- these are the eyes of the LORD which range to and fro throughout the earth. Then I said to him, "What are these two olive trees on the right of the lampstand and on its left?" Revelations 4:5—Out from the throne come flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder. And there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God; Zechariah 6:12-13 – "Then say to him, "Thus says the LORD of hosts, "Behold, a man whose name is Branch, for He will branch out from where He is; and He will build the temple of the LORD. "Yes, it is He who will build the temple of the LORD, and He who will bear the honor and sit and rule on His throne. Thus, He will be a priest on His throne, and the counsel of peace will be between the two offices."' From Frances Metcalfe I saw that hitherto I had been an “eagle-saint” a prayer wait-er and warrior. I was now to be changed into a dove-saint. (The doves typifying the company who shall ascend and descend and finally be translated.) I was also reminded of the descent of the Holy Ghost, in the form of a dove, upon our Lord at His baptism in the Jordan River. At that time the Father spoke out of heaven: “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” (Matthew 3:17) I saw that the dove was a symbol of Sonship, of purity and of sacrifice—as well as of the Holy Spirit. God is Stirring the Remnant Haggai 1:14—So the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and worked on the house of the LORD of hosts, their God, Haggai 2:21-23—"Speak to Zerubbabel governor of Judah, saying, "I am going to shake the heavens and the earth. I will overthrow the thrones of kingdoms and destroy the power of the kingdoms of the nations; and I will overthrow the chariots and their riders, and the horses and their riders will go down, everyone by the sword of another.‘ On that day,' declares the LORD of hosts, "I will take you, Zerubbabel, son of Shealtiel, My servant,' declares the LORD, "and I will make you like a signet ring for I have chosen you,"' declares the LORD of hosts. In all of this Zerubbabel was a type of Christ. Servant of the Lord, chosen of Him, and set as signet or seal upon the hand of the Father—the express image of His Person. (Hebrews 1:3 The Spirit of the Lord Isaiah 11:2—The Spirit of the LORD will rest on Him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and strength, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD. Manifestation of the Presence of God as Jehovah. Spirit= ruach ^7307^, "breath; air; strength; wind; breeze; spirit; courage; temper; Spirit." This noun has cognates in Ugaritic, Aramaic, and Arabic. The word occurs about 378 times and in all periods of biblical Hebrew. Lord= Yehovah-Jehovah (Yahweh) "the existing One"; the proper name of the one true God; Genesis 1:2—The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters. Ruach of Elohym. Plural name of God associated with creation or as Creator. Jehovah appears is Genesis 2:4. “The day the Lord God made earth and heaven.” 2 Corinthians 3:17-18—Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, {there} is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit. Spirit of the Lord=Government Isaiah 9:6—For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; and the government will rest on His shoulders; and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. Government=misrah- rule, dominion, government, empire. Numbers 11:17—Then I will come down and speak with you there, and I will take of the Spirit who is upon you, and will put {Him} upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, so that you will not bear it all alone. Attributes of God’s Government Ephesians 3:17 - Rooted and grounded in love. Colossians 1:23- Rooted and grounded in faith. I Timothy 3:15 - Rooted and grounded in truth. The Fruit of this Tree will be: 1. LOVE 2. JOY 3. PEACE 4. PATIENCE 5. KINDNESS 6. GOODNESS 7. FAITHFULNESS 8. GENTLENESS 9. LORD OUR BANNER 11. LORD OF HOSTS 12. LORD IS PRESENT Fulfillment of the Redemptive Names of Jehovah in the Person of Jesus JEHOVAH-JIREH — The Lord will provide. Genesis 22.14 BEHOLD THE LAMB OF GOD - (JOHN 1:29) MY GOD SHALL PROVIDE...ACCORDING TO HIS RICHES IN GLORY BY CHRIST JESUS (PHIL. 4:19) His pre-vision means His pro-vision which is what is meant by His combined name that Abraham gave to the place where He found the ram provided as a substitute for Isaac. This miracle was not of a normal significance but rather was a creative miracle by God for the sacrifice in the same sense that the Lord created a body through the miraculous conception for the substitute sacrifice for man. JEHOVAH-ROPHI— The Lord our Healer/Physician. Exodus 15.26 HE HEALED ALL MANNER OF SICKNESS AND DISEASE. (MATT. 11:45) From Israel we learn that in times of sickness God heals, for He is our Jehovah Rophi, "I am Jehovah thy healer". To express God's grace in restoring spirit life, He declared that He healed all of our diseases, spiritual as well as physical. (Psalms 103:3) JEHOVAH-NISSI— The Lord our Banner. EXODUS 17:15-16 BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD. (Matt. 21:9) Moses took care that God should have the glory for the victory over Amalek. Instead of setting up a trophy in the honor of Joshua, though it had been a standard policy to put marks of honor upon men, rather he built an altar to the honor of God. What is most carefully recorded is the inscription upon the altar, Jehovah-Nissi - The Lord my banner. The presence and power of Jehovah were the banner under which they enlisted, by which they were animated and kept together. Jehovah Nissi in literal Hebrew means "A hand upon the throne of Jehovah". Jehovah will have war with Amalek from generation to generation. Amalek's hand had dared to assault Jehovah's throne to overturn it and so He gave Israel the authority and power of that throne to overwhelm Amalek. The uplifted hands of Moses symbolized this banner. Here we have an illustration of the hand of faith outstretched in prayer. JEHOVAH-M'KADDESH— The Lord Who Sanctifies SANCTIFIED IN TRUTH - HE IS TRUTH INCARNATE. (JOHN 17:17) SANCTIFIED IN CHRIST JESUS. (I Cor. 1:2) The term holiness is from the Hebrew word "Kodesh" and is allied to "sanctify" and is translated as dedicate, consecrate, hallow and holy in various translations. "I am Jehovah M'Kaddesh - The Lord who sanctifies you". This term's main influence relates to moral and spiritual purity. In the New Testament many scriptures relate to the process of sanctification, the sum of which are provided to the church through the atoning work of Christ. SANCTIFIED SANCTIFIED SANCTIFIED SANCTIFIED BY BY BY BY TRUTH (JOHN15:3;17:17) THE BLOOD (HEBREWS 13:12) FAITH (ACTS 26:18) PRAYER (I TIMOTHY 4:5) JEHOVAH-SHALOM—The Lord our Peace--Judges 6.42 HE IS OUR PEACE. (Eph. 2:14) PEACE I GIVE UNTO YOU. (JOHN 14:27) The word "Peace" and its cognates appear over 400 times in scripture. It is one of the most precious and fundamentally essential ingredients for a believer to be at peace with God and know the peace of God. It relates to a harmonious relationship obtained through reconciliation of a debt paid in full. Peace or "Shalom" is often translated - welfare, good health, prosperity, favor, rest whole, finished, restitution or repay and perfect. Jehovah Tsebahoth - The Lord of Host— I SAMUEL 1:3 SON OF MAN...AND ALL THE HOLY ANGELS (Matt. 25:31) ANGELS OF GOD ASCENDING AND DESCENDING UPON THE SON OF MAN. (JOHN 1:51) This term in Hebrew is taken from sabaoth, meaning host or hosts with special reference to warfare or service and often appears as the Lord of Hosts. This Hebrew term has also rendered armies and also appointed for service. This reference for Jehovah appears fourteen times in the book of Haggai and twenty-four times in the book of Malachi. In Zechariah, the Lord of Hosts, occurs fifty-three times and is of great interest seeing it is connected with God's action in judgement and blessing upon Israel. The expression "Thus saith the Lord of Hosts" implied divine revelation and divine authority. A phrase like "Holiness unto the Lord of Hosts", Zechariah 14:21. When the conquest of Canaan was about to begin the Lord was revealed as the unknown warrior with naked sword standing before Joshua. When Joshua asked the question, "are you for us or against us"; the reply came, "I am Prince of the Host of Jehovah", therefore Joshua humbly surrendered his sword to Jehovah Tsebahoth. The whole of His creation is under His control and obeys His sovereign command, willingly or otherwise. HE is: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Lord of all angelic hosts (I Kings 22:19) The Lord of all steller (Genesis 1:16) The Lord of all the feathered hosts (I Kings 17:2-7) The Lord of all the animal hosts (Is. 11:6) The Lord of all the human hosts (Is. 40:15) The Lord of the satanic hosts (Matthew 28:18) JEHOVAH-ROHI— The Lord My Shepherd I AM THE GOOD SHEPHERD (JOHN 10:14) THE LAMB IN THE CENTER OF THE THRONE SHALL BE THEIR SHEPHERD. (REV. 7:17) Although Israel learned to magnify the Lord for life, healing, victory, holiness, peace, and protection, they were still pilgrims and were in dire need of divine provision in their wilderness journey with all its weariness, physical needs, duties, dangers and difficulties. Thus there came the revelation of God as their Jehovah Rohi, the One whose Shepherd love, care and resources they could depend upon in all the untrodden and unknown pathways of the future. Thus the Lord is the feeder to provide, keeper to protect, companion to cheer, friend to help, pastor to comfort, herdsman near to us, as His frequent revelations as such proves. The twenty-third Psalm contains eight redemptive names of Jehovah; 1. Jehovah Rohi (Psalm 23:1) - Jehovah is my shepherd. 2. Jehovah Jireh (Psalm 23:1) - I shall not want. 3. Jehovah Shalom - The Lord is my peace. (Psalm 23:2) He makes me to lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. 4. Jehovah Rophi - The Lord my healer. (Psalm 23:3) He restores my soul. 5. Jehovah Tsidkenu - The Lord is righteousness (Psalm 23:3) He leadeth me in paths of righteousness for His name sake. 6. Jehovah Nissi - The Lord is my banner (Psalm 23:5) Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies. 7. Jehovah M'Kaddesh - The Lord my sanctifier. (Psalm 23:5) Thou anointest my head with oil. 8. Jehovah Shammah - The Lord is there (Psalm 23:4) Thou art with me. JEHOVAH-TSIDKEENU— The Lord our Righteousness Jeremiah 33.6 CHRIST JESUS...MADE UNTO US RIGHTEOUSNESS (I COR. 1:30) THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD...FAITH IN JESUS (Rom. 3:22) In the Old Testament there is evident revelation of Israel as being a nation seeking after righteousness, yet in its passionate desire for righteousness, the people discovered their own unrighteousness. Therefore, we become people that are seekers after hearts of purity and after communion with God in holiness. The Greeks sought after wisdom and the Romans sought after power and world dominion. But there is ever a remnant of God's chosen people who seek after God and His righteousness. To the glory of the gospel is that Jehovah Tsidkenu became flesh and was made unto us righteousness (I Cor. 1:30). A righteous God pronounced death as the penalty of sin, yet that same God became flesh, the righteous branch, to taste death for every sinner and provide the righteousness that is transferred or imputed to the believer and is thereby accepted before God. Acceptable righteousness therefore is not attained but obtained. Jehovah Heleyon - The Lord Most High THE MOST HIGH DOES NOT DWELL IN HOUSES MADE BY HUMAN HAND (Acts 7:48) THESE MEN ARE SERVANTS (OF CHRIST) OF THE MOST HIGH GOD (ACTS 16:17) Jehovah Heleyon is frequently used in the Psalms as a declaration of God's highest position or kingship. This title reveals God as the high and lofty one that inhabits eternity (Is. 57:15). Prophetically speaking of Jehovah's reign over the earth at the time of Israel's restoration or the restoration of God's chosen people. It is also reassuring for us to know that during these difficult days that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men also (Daniel 4:25). This redemptive name places God at the highest place of every realm of life so that He can fulfil His will in and through us. When applied to God, this redemptive name reveals that though He is the highest, there are others below Him endowed by Him with like natures and therefore in some way related to Him by His Spirit. Jehovah-Makkeh - The Lord Who Smites— Ezekiel 7.9 WHOM THE LORD LOVES HE CHASTENS (HEBREWS 12:6) The Lord has given Israel to us as an example of His dealings with man. He set Israel in the midst of heathen nations as His witness but instead of revealing and glorifying Him she changed His judgements into wickedness greater than all the nations she was suppose to influence for Him. Therefore He said, "You shall know that I am Jehovah-Makkeh", the Lord who smites thee. (Ezekiel 7:9) Daniel in the 9th chapter reveals that Israel found themselves in captivity because they refused to heed the voice of the Lord their God which was set before them by His servants, the prophets. Consequently, as a result of their disobedience the Lord smote Israel and disciplined her because of her unbelief and rejection of His true revealed word. The church has also experienced a similar disciplinary period over the past forty years because of her rejection of the true revealed word as brought to the church by His servant the, the prophets. JEHOVAH-GMOLAH— Lord Who Recompenses Jeremiah 51:16 VENGEANCE IS MINE...SAITH THE LORD (Romans 12:17-21) The scriptures declare that retribution or recompense does not belong to us but rather it belongs to God. In Jeremiah 51, the Lord declares that He will severely punish Babylon because of their harsh dealing with Israel thereby revealing Himself as the God of retribution. The same was true of Egypt when they placed the nation of Israel under a heavy burden and struck the apple of His eye. When a person is shamefully treated or misjudged, even wrongfully condemned or blamed when innocent, it becomes very difficult not to take up our own defense and leave our reputation to God. Yet this is the precise way that He has instructed for us to respond. Retribution and recompense belong only to him. Vengeance is His and He promised to repay. (Deut. 32:35; II Thes. 1:8) JEHOVAH-SHAMMAH— Lord Who is There/Present Ezekiel 48.35 THE WORD BECAME FLESH AND DWELT AMONG US (JOHN 1:14) THEY SHALL CALL HIS NAME EMMANUEL, EZEKIEL 48:35 The name of the city revealed through Ezekiel is Jehovah Shammah, the Lord is There, so called because of the manifest presence and power of Jehovah residing therein. We also know from scripture that God does not dwell in temples made by hands but rather we are the temple of God. This is the last of Jehovah's redemptive titles in the order of their Old Testament occurrence. It discloses the consummation of His progressive self revelation. The people of Israel were brought out of the bondage of Egypt by His manifest presence (Deut. 4:37). However, the people willfully and continually sinned and the conscious manifest Presence of God was rescinded. Yet when the people repented of their gross idolatry, because of His love and pity, the angel of His presence redeemed them once again (Isaiah 63:9). The apostle Paul describes the church as a habitation of God, a house of God, and the building growing unto a holy temple in the Lord. The question remains, Does the Glory of Jehovah fill Jehovah's house and are we members of that house displaying His Glory? GOD WITH US. (MATT. 1:23) The Spirit of the Lord is Upon Me Luke 4:18-21—The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord. Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him. And He began to say to them, "Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.“ Anointing Upon a Place Vrs A Person Spirit descended as a Dove= pneuma=breath/wind. Spirits of Wisdom and Understanding Isaiah 11:2-3 –The Spirit of the LORD will rest on Him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and strength, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD. And He will delight in the fear of the LORD, and He will not judge by what His eyes see, nor make a decision by what His ears hear. 1. This is the Greater Works Anointing –John 14:12 2. As Jesus was sent, so will the Bride/Son’s –John 21:21-22 3. The Plumbline Ministry involves the Seven Spirits of God —Zechariah 4:10. The Seven Spirits of God Defined Gods "Sevenfold Spirit" is a wonderful mystery to highlight the functioning of the Lord's Spirit in the earth. It is not in contradiction to the triune nature of God but a perfect and complete expression of His Spirit that demonstrates the fullness of His character and power. The Spirit of the Lord doesn’t have wisdom and revelation, counsel and might, knowledge and reverential awe; He IS all of these. The Book of Revelations uses the phrase "Seven Spirits of God" in four passages. It is taken from two Greek words: Hepta= meaning seven or more appropriately sevenfold. Pneumata= meaning a plural rendering of spirits, breath or wind that can also be used to describe a singular object or person. Who He is and What He Does The seven aspects of the Holy Spirit provide a more clear definition of His nature. The Spirit of the Lord is an expression of who He is while wisdom and revelation, counsel and might, and knowledge and the reverential fear of God are what He is. The Jewish Bible records Revelations 4:5 as follows: From the throne came forth lightnings, voices and thunderings; and before the throne were seven flaming torches, which are the sevenfold Spirit of God. The sevenfold Spirit is a complete representation of His revelation (seven eyes) and power (seven horns) essential to accomplish His plan in the earth. In order for the Church to do the works that He did, fulfilling John 14:12, this same manifestation of the Spirit must also rest upon her! The Lord promised to baptize us in the Holy Spirit and fire; the Seven Spirits of God are manifested in fire. The Eyes of the Lord Zechariah 4:9-10—The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house, and his hands will finish it. Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent me to you. For who has despised the day of small things? But these seven will be glad when they see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel-these are the eyes of the LORD which range to and fro throughout the earth.“ This Anointing is the Cornerstone and Capstone Ministries Complete Power and Revelation Revelations 5:6—And I saw between the throne (with the four living creatures) and the elders a Lamb standing, as if slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent out into all the earth. Divine Pairs The Seven Spirits of God work together in pairs. The spirit of wisdom and the spirit of understanding work in harmony with one another. The spirits of counsel and might work in unison as do the spirits of knowledge and reverential fear of God, all flowing from the manifestation of the Spirit of the Lord. Spirits of Wisdom & Understanding Spirits of Counsel & Might Spirits of Knowledge & Awe Wisdom & Understanding Defined —The spirit of wisdom is the supernatural ability of God that comes upon our spirits to see Jesus as He is and receive a spiritual understanding and knowledge of God’s word that enables us to know what to do, when to do it and how to do it in every situation. It also reveals God’s manifold and unsearchable wisdom and secrets affecting His plans and purposes usually spoken in a mystery. It means a deeper intimacy into the things of God. Daniel 9:21-23—While I was still speaking in prayer, then the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision previously, came to me in my extreme weariness about the time of the evening offering. He gave me instruction and talked with me and said, "O Daniel, I have now come forth to give you insight with understanding. At the beginning of your supplications the command was issued, and I have come to tell you for you are highly esteemed; so give heed to the message and gain understanding of the vision. The spirit of revelation/understanding is a comprehension of the things of God providing understanding with the mind giving insight with perception. Wisdom and understanding means the insight into the true nature of things with the ability to discern mode of action with a view to their results. It is the ability to not only know the things of God but also the application of them practically. Revelation is the comprehension imparted into our spirits from the Holy Spirit and transmitted into our minds. It is the voice of God speaking to our spirits and informing our minds of that which God is going to do; the unfolding of hidden secrets to us by the Holy spirit; and the revealing of mysteries and insight into the future. As demonstrated in the life of Daniel, humility and an excellent spirit are vital attributes in the operation of the spirits of wisdom and revelation. Contending for These Endowments For the release of the mantle of wisdom and understanding we must pray and ask for it and the integrity to steward it well. The apostle Paul taught us that in Ephesians 1:17-19. Equipping and instruction will result, helping us to appropriately understand the Biblical offices and administration. We must earnestly desire these mantles and pray for the maturity, character, and grace to be endowed with them. Their benefits are enormous. The eyes of our hearts are enlightened Insight to know what is the hope of His calling What are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints What is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe Increase, Increase, Increase, Increase, Increase Numbers 9:21-23—If sometimes the cloud remained from evening until morning, when the cloud was lifted in the morning, they would move out; or if it remained in the daytime and at night, whenever the cloud was lifted, they would set out. Whether it was two days or a month or a year that the cloud lingered over the tabernacle, staying above it, the sons of Israel remained camped and did not set out; but when it was lifted, they did set out. At the command of the LORD they camped, and at the command of the LORD they set out; they kept the LORD'S Numbers 10:28—This was the order of march of the sons of Israel by their armies as they set out. They will call peoples {to} the mountain; there they will offer righteous sacrifices; for they will draw out the abundance of the seas, and the hidden treasures of the sand.“ Genesis 49:13-15—Zebulun will dwell at the seashore; and he shall be a haven for ships, and his flank shall be toward Sidon. "Issachar is a strong donkey, lying down between the sheepfolds. When he saw that a resting place was good and that the land was pleasant, He bowed his shoulder to bear {burdens} and became a slave at forced labor. Judges 5:14—Out of Ephraim was there a root of them against Amalek; after thee, Benjamin, among thy people; out of Machir came down governors, and out of Zebulun they that handle the pen of the writer. Isaiah 9:1-2—But there will be no more gloom for her who was in anguish; in earlier times He treated the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali with contempt, but later on He shall make it glorious, by the way of the sea, on the other side of Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles. The people who walk in darkness Will see a great light; those who live in a dark land, the light will shine on them. Matthew 4:13-16—Leaving Nazareth, He came and settled in Capernaum, which is by the sea, in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali. This was to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet: "THE LAND OF ZEBULUN AND THE LAND OF NAPHTALI, BY THE WAY OF THE SEA, BEYOND THE JORDAN, GALILEE OF THE GENTILES--THE PEOPLE WHO WERE SITTING IN DARKNESS SAW A GREAT LIGHT, AND THOSE WHO WERE SITTING IN THE LAND AND SHADOW OF DEATH, UPON THEM A LIGHT DAWNED." Caleb and I were walking out into Our Connection and this is soooooooooooooooo very crazy but Paul Keith was out there playing a slot machine.....The slot machine was dinging and flashing. Huge Sand dollars were flying out of the slot machine and piling up on the floor all the way up to his knees. Paul Keith had a huge grin on his face...He was laughing and shouting, " I just won a Million bucks and I was playing this thing with my left hand!“ Right after that I woke at 5:07....I did feel like the left handed connection was significant....The Lord reminded me about the Left-handed Benjamites and how Benjamin was the Son of the Father's right hand.....Also as I copied the verses in Isaiah I noticed mention of help from the Father's right hand. There is much to say about the tribe of Benjamin. ....I also thought of the tribe of Issachar and the blessings of the sands in regard to Paul Keith winning those SAND dollars in the Connection....(Deut 33:18-19) 507-Carat Diamond Found at South African Mine Wednesday, September 30, 2009 Sept. 24: Petra Diamonds CEO Johan Dippenaar holds the 507.55 carat white diamond recovered at the Cullinan Diamond Mine, South Africa. It is a wonderful place and I am sure you are enjoying the people and the beauty of the land. I sent a email to Wanda, but thought I would pass along some prophetic to you since it pertains to S. Africa and William Branham. We had a Rosh Hashanah service last Friday night and our speaker was from S.Africa. During the meeting she brought a very prophetic friend with her from S Africa (she is what they call the Coy people from Africa, real seer's). This woman is amazing, she has visions and sees numbers. The numbers are numbers from the Strong Concordance. She doesn't know what they mean, she just sees them and you look them up. This is her first time to America and she knows nothing about our ministry, she was just a guest of our speaker. Well, during the service she sees a vision of William Branham come into the meeting and he has 2 scrolls in his hand. Each scroll has a number on them. The first one in the Concordance means appointed time, and the 2nd one is Mt. Sinai. There are thousands of numbers in the Strong's and these are the 2 she gets. The meeting was powerful and our ministry has gone to a new level. I just thought it was interesting that we had S. Africans seeing this and you are there now. I believe this is a word for all who are going after what Branham brought, the appointed time has come to go up the mountain and get the word of the Lord. God bless and we are praying you have great meetings this weekend, Tim and Susan September 25, 2009 September 26, 2009 Joshua 1:2-9—Moses My servant is dead; now therefore arise, cross this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them, to the sons of Israel.Every place on which the sole of your foot treads, I have given it to you, just as I spoke to Moses….No man will be able to stand before you all the days of your life. Just as I have been with Moses, I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you. Be strong and courageous, for you shall give this people possession of the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. Only be strong and very courageous; be careful to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may have success wherever you go….Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. From Jason Hooper: When I was praying on Rosh Hashannah, I saw you standing on the coast, a beautiful beach behind you a blue & green ocean in front of you. You were fishing with your pants rolled up to the knee. I saw your line had been cast both far and deep. I heard the scripture, Ecc 11:1-Cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days. Directly after I heard this scripture, I saw you draw in your line and I felt that the "fish" that you had caught was the return of "the big one that had gotten away." Spirits of Counsel and Might Around the throne were twenty-four thrones; and upon the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white garments, and golden crowns on their heads. Out from the throne come flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder. And there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God; —Revelations 4:4-5 Would Do We Know About the Seven Lampstands They represent the seven functions of God’s Spirit –Isaiah 11:2; Zechariah 4. It was typified in the Tabernacle of Moses— Exodus 37:23 It is an awesome sight to behold as they function in the Earth. –Ezekiel 1:12-13 It is the anointing Jesus functioned in. –Revelations 5:6 Jesus Himself walks among the Lampstands. –Revelations 2:1 The Spirit of Counsel Defined The Spirit of Counsel is advice, plans, or admonitions of prudence to provide leadership and proper decision-making to achieve God's plan and purpose. The Hebrew word for Counsel used numerous times in the Old Testament is etsah and is translated as counsel, advice, advisement, or purpose. One of the first occurrences is and Exodus 18:9 when Jethro gives counsel to Moses concerning the leadership of Israel. The Spirit of Counsel grants advice from God's throne and provides the perfect plan or strategy to achieve a specific mandate. The Lord is the Spirit of counsel (see Isaiah 9:6). Isaiah 28:9 declares that this also comes from the Lord of hosts, who is wonderful in counsel and excellent in guidance. The Spirit of Might Defined Might is taken from the Hebrew word gebuwrah and is defined as power, strength, or force producing valor, victory, and mighty deeds. The Spirit of Might illustrates and demonstrates the marvelous acts and miraculous powers of the Holy Spirit. Careful adherence and response to His Counsel releases the Spirit of Might Deuteronomy 3:24 –O Lord GOD, you have begun to show your servant your greatness and your strong hand; for what god is there in heaven or on earth who can do such works and mighty acts as yours? Old Testament Accounts of Counsel and Might Moses Flowed in the Spirit of Counsel and Might in Delivering Israel from Egypt. He never acted on his own but only after the counsel of God. Go and stand next to the river Nile and stretch out your rod. Obedience on the counsel releases the power. Elijah and the prophets of Baal (1 Kings 18:21-36) 1 King 18:36 Then it came about at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near and said, "O LORD, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, today let it be known that Thou art God in Israel, and that I am Thy servant, and that I have done all these things at Thy word. Elisha and Naaman (2 Kings 5:1-10) Counsel and Might in the Ministry of Jesus Jesus Did Only What He Heard and Saw the Father Doing. John 9:6-7 When He had said this, He spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and applied the clay to his eyes, and said to him, "Go, wash in the pool of Siloam" (which is translated, sent). And so he went away and washed, and came back seeing. Mark 8:23 And taking the blind man by the hand, He brought him out of the village; and after spitting on his eyes, and laying His hands upon him, He asked him, "Do you see anything?" Knowledge & Reverential Awe Isaiah 11:3-4 –And He will delight in the fear of the LORD, and He will not judge by what His eyes see, nor make a decision by what His ears hear; 4 But with righteousness He will judge the poor, and decide with fairness for the afflicted of the earth; and He will strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips He will slay the wicked. Lessons from the Garden of Eden Access to God’s supernatural knowledge without the corresponding anointing of reverential awe is dangerous. Adam ate from the “tree of the knowledge of good and evil” and forfeited his Fellowship with God. He exchanged his reverential fear for the Living God to become afraid of God and hid himself. It is God’s earnest desire to reveal Himself to His children and share His secrets. We do not have a spirit of fear but the spirit of the fear of the Lord. Genesis 3:8-10 –They heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden. Then the LORD God called to the man, and said to him, "Where are you?“ He said, "I heard the sound of You in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid myself.“ Afraid=yare’ =to fear or cause to frighten. Fear= yir’ah=awesome or terrifying; respect, reverence, and piety. Ps 25:12-14 –Who is the man who fears the LORD? He will instruct him in the way he should choose. His soul will abide in prosperity, and his descendants will inherit the land. The secret of the LORD is for those who fear Him, and He will make them know His covenant. Genesis 18:17 –The LORD said, "Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do. John 15:15 –No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you. Spirit of Knowledge & Awe Defined The Spirit of Knowledge is very simply accessing the omniscient nature of God. He knows all things even to the numbering of the hairs of our head. The unveiling of this dimension of His nature opens the door for the manifestation of reverential awe through a demonstration of supernatural information and insight. Spirit of Fear is a healthy awareness of God’s omnipotent nature with a view of the vastness of His being and the unlimited nature of His power. Old and New Testament Examples II Kings 6:12 –One of his servants said, "No, my lord, O king; but Elisha, the prophet who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the words that you speak in your bedroom.“ II Kings 5:26-27 –Then he said to him, "Did not my heart go with you when the man turned from his chariot to meet you? Is it a time to receive money and to receive clothes and olive groves and vineyards and sheep and oxen and male and female servants? Therefore, the leprosy of Naaman shall cling to you and to your descendants forever." So he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow. John 4:25-29 –The woman said to Him, "I know that Messiah is coming (He who is called Christ); when that One comes, He will declare all things to us.“ Jesus said to her, "I who speak to you am {He.} “…So the woman left her waterpot, and went into the city and said to the men, Come, see a man who told me all the things that I have done; this is not the Christ, is it?“ John 1:46 & 49 –Nathanael said to him, "Can any good thing come out of Nazareth?" Philip said to him, "Come and see.“… Nathanael answered Him, "Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel."
