The College delivers these qualifications and awards in compliance to each Awarding Bodies’ Quality Assurance requirements. 3.2 The College can also credit rate its own devised programmes of study underpinned by the principles and practices of the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF). 3.3 Internal quality review and verification activities are carried out to ensure compliance with College policies and procedures and the requirements of Awarding Bodies and other stakeholders. 3.4 Self-evaluation is carried out by the College as part of its annual quality improvement cycle. It is expected that teams/areas evaluate their performance using the criteria detailed in the Scottish Funding Council (SFC)/Education Scotland (EdS) Quality Framework. 3.5 The process of self-evaluation is used to support quality assurance, improvement and enhancement to improve the student experience. 3.6 Outcomes of self-evaluation and internal quality review activities are used to inform operational plans at all appropriate levels and influence policies and procedures. 3.7 Outcomes of self-evaluation and analysis of Key Performance Measures are used to inform actions to improve student achievement, retention and progression rates. 3.8 Stakeholder surveys are undertaken to provide feedback on the services that the College provides. This feedback contributes to the evidence base for selfevaluation. 3.9 Student data is analysed to ensure fair and equal opportunities for all our students and that specific needs are being met. 3.10 All aspects of the College’s business are subject to review and monitoring to ensure continuous business improvement. 3.11 All aspects of the College’s business are covered by relevant policies and procedures.
