Check Homework#1: “Definitions” and “Choosing the Right Word” from Unit 10. Answer the Short Answer Prompt applying the A-C-E method from “The Sniper” (page 437 of the purple literature book). Practice Synonyms and Antonyms Unit 10 in orange vocabulary book. 2/22, Friday—Essential Question: How do I respond to the open-ended questions on the STAAR? Rewrite the initial short answer response from the English I Reading Released Test using the AC-E method. Turn in for a quiz grade. When finished, complete the STAAR Revising and Editing practice. Turn in responses on a separate sheet of paper. Assessments: Upcoming Unit 10 Vocabulary Quiz will be Wednesday, Feb. 27th. The Open-Ended STAAR response will be a quiz grade.
