Agency Launches Joint Venture Company with Bungalow Media + Entertainment to Deliver

new branded content division, Bungalow Horizon. The unit, a joint venture between Horizon
Media and Bungalow Media + Entertainment, is an integrated entertainment company that will
develop, produce, and distribute branded content across all media platforms including
television, film, live events, and digital media.
The Bungalow Media + Entertainment and Horizon Media joint venture will be operated through
a new company, and combines the industry’s leading privately-owned media agency expertise
with one of the industry’s foremost authorities on the entertainment industry. Bungalow Media +
Entertainment is a newly formed media entertainment company founded by Robert Friedman, a
thirty-year entertainment industry veteran. Friedman will spearhead the company as Chief
Executive Officer of Bungalow Horizon and reside in Horizon Media’s New York headquarters.

Friedman was most recently President of Media and Entertainment at @radical.media, a
Fremantle Media Company, producing assets including “Bon Jovi: When We Were Beautiful,”
which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and Paul Simon’s “Under African Skies,” on the
Showtime Network and numerous TV credits including Grey Goose’s “Iconoclasts,” Nike’s
“Battlegrounds,” the pilot episode of the Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning series "Mad
Men,” for AMC, “Britney: For the Record” for MTV, and “Oprah Winfrey Presents Masterclass”
for the new OWN channel, among others. Friedman was an original member of the start up
team at MTV and launched New Line Cinema’s Television unit as President and was Co-Chair
of Worldwide Marketing & Distribution for New Line Cinema. Friedman’s industry honors
include ADWEEK’s "Media Man of the Year" title, and inclusion in Advertising Age’s prestigious
“Top 100 Marketers in the Country” list.
