 Livelihood promotion through SHG approach.
 Technical and capacity building training on various development
issues especially related to livelihood, health and education.
 People’s
mobilization, organization and awareness to fight against
social economic abuses like gender issue child labour, human
trafficking etc.
C.Brief History
The Shubash Chandra Bose SevaSanstha (SCBSS) is a registered
voluntary organization under Societies registration act 21, 1860 in
September 2004. The society is named in memory of the founder of Indian
National Army and the great patriot and the unmemorable martyr Sri
NetajiSubash Chandra Bose. Actually life and sacrifices of the Netaji has
magnificent and geometrical progressive impact on the heats of millions of
not only contemporary people but also into the hearts of generation after
generations which came and are still to come. Some youth of the Latehar
district assume Netaji their role model. His patriotism and nationalism has
great influence in the body and mind of these neonationalis. They have firm
faith in democratic values and believe in national integration as the power
and strength of the country. They attempt for solidification of national
integration through abolition of all social evils, establishing constitutional
faith endeavouring emancipation of marginal sections including women and
children, development of education, ensuring employment and establishing
all kinds of equity and justice to all without consideration of any sort of
diversities.
The deplorable condition of the area in general and of women and children
and scheduled cast and tribal people in particular were the main factors in
the background of the emergence of the SCBSS and its continuous
concern for amelioration of the anomalies affecting the rural people in
general and urban poor in particular. During its functioning in more than
half decade the organization has volunteered in number of ways and
occasions of miseries, grief, our of needs, outburst of natural calamities,
epidemics and so on and have also played the role to make people to
realise and recognise the adversely affecting factors, organize and voice
against these factors and unit for self-governance. Some important areas
of the interventions has been intensive and extensive development of
agriculture including technological and scientific research, vocational IGP
trainings, women empowerment activities, awareness for education,
awareness to abolish child labour, precautionary health initiatives and
organization of emergency health camps etc. all through SHG approach.

We visualize emancipated, educated, employed and equitable society
having justice to all without consideration of caste, creed or gender.

Striving to develop aspiration, organize marginal including women and
children,their empowerment and make them vocational against forces
retarding their freedom, progress and deprive their constitutional, social,
economic and humanitarian rights.

G. ACCOUNTS OF OUR PAST ACTIVITY
Adopting the SHGs approach, we are endeavouring to unite the community,
disseminate information and increase the aspiration level, make vocational
and assume the role of agent of change. Base on this strategy, we have the
planned area of activities which are as follows.
 SHGs formation and strengthening through various functional and
vocational trainings.
 Technological up gradation and intensive and extensive agricultural
development including allied income generation programmes with
agriculture.
 Empowerment of women along with attempts to establish gender equity
in the area of operation.
 Awareness for Water, Sanitation & Hygiene, health care, Education and
complete abolition of child labour and
 Providing inputs for preventive and precautionary health measures,
organization of health camps as per our drives and in emergencies
