Emission Trading
Dear partners,
Are your students up for some ‘Serious Fun’ this
summer?
Tilburg University is organizing the Tilburg University
Summer School (TUSS) between July 10 and August
8, 2014.
Our green campus will provide your students a
welcoming place for academic development. Moreover,
the TUSS offers lots of opportunities to discover the
Netherlands and enjoy a unique cultural experience.
Summer Courses
This year, the TUSS offers new and exciting courses,
such as Corporate Social Responsibility and Firm
Profitability, Global Business Law and Economics, and
The Law and Economics of EU Emission Trading. The
successful International Entrepreneurship Program will
be offered this year for the 5th time.
We would like to bring these, but also Tilburg
University’s other summer courses to your attention. It
would be great if you could share this information with
interested students.
You can find all courses and detailed information on our
website
www.tilburguniversity.edu/education/summerschool.

Social Program
Global Business Law and Economics
This course aims at providing a non-technical
introduction to the main legal and economic issues
encountered in today’s global business life. By
blending law and economics, it allows students
from various backgrounds to understand the legal
and economic logic of the constraints that
determine the environment of any economic
enterprise: contract law, tort liability, competition
law, and trade law.
Besides welcome activities such as Arrival and
Welcome Days, a Tilburg Tour and a Welcome
Picnic, the TUSS also offers city trips
(Amsterdam, The Hague), a visit to the La Trappe
brewery and to The Efteling amusement park,
International Dinners, and other activities such as
a Language Cafe, movie night, pub quizzes and a
Farewell BBQ.
