47TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE
Omni Bedford Springs Resort
July 15 - 17, 2015
PDI’s 47th Annual Conference promises to be another memorable event. We return again this year to historic
Bedford Springs Resort in Bedford, PA, which is fast becoming PDI’s home away from home. As always, there
will be plenty for the family to do, so bring them along and consider extending your stay at beautiful Bedford
Springs. Featured topics include a look at Pennsylvania’s insurance bad faith law fifteen years after the adoption
of statutory bad faith in Pennsylvania, a look at judicial corruption and discussion about the proposed ALI
Restatement of the Law of Liability Insurance. There is also a presentation on technology in modern law practice.
We will also be honoring Representative Bryan Cutler for his years of service and for being a reliable friend to
the defense bar and insurance industry.
The Annual Conference is an excellent opportunity to mix business with pleasure while obtaining continuing
education credits. Just 90 minutes from Pittsburgh and three hours from Philadelphia, the AAA Four-Diamond
Omni Bedford Springs Resort offers unrivaled luxury in a classic setting.
We are encouraging our insurance professional members to hold outside/panel counsel meetings in conjunction
with the Conference. We welcome and thank the insurance claim professionals for attending our event.
Spend your free time enjoying the resort's challenging golf course, relaxing pool and picturesque hiking areas.
In addition to these activities, we are also offering:
 Childcare/babysitting services – Anderson's Explorers offers organized games and activities for kids ages
4 and up. For younger children and infants, the hotel can arrange for a babysitter. These services will be
available at any time during the conference.
 Trip to Flight 93 Memorial in nearby Shanksville.
 Outdoor laser tag for the kids or adventuresome adults.
 GPS Geocaching Search for those who want a challenging way to explore the resort.
 Culinary classes led by the resort's world class chefs.
 Interested in a relaxing day at the spa? Pamper yourself at the Eternal Spring Spa. Make your reservation
early!
Reserve your room by June 22, 2015 to receive the PDI discounted rates of $209 per night for a Deluxe Room,
$229 for a Resort View Room and $249 for a Luxury Spa Room valid from July 12 through July 19, 2015, so
