Activity: Rock climbing

Students will be able to identify lifting, and condition
exercises to help them improve as a rock climber
Students will be able to perform all exercises
working on flexibility and mobility
Students will have a fun experience doing circuit
training while working on flexibility and mobility.
Students will have music playing and the freedom to
do the circuit in any order they want. While working
to become a better rock climber
Assessment of Objectives
Students will answer questions based on their experience during the lesson
and expand on more ways to help with rock climbing
Students will have to get their workout signed off by the teacher to ensure
all stations were done
Students will be asked question on their experience what exercises did they
like, which ones didn’t they like. Students will explain how these exercises
can help them improve as a rock climber. Students will fill out an
assessment to show there understanding of the lesson they performed
Equipment needed: 20 cones, 5 bands, med balls, 5 line PCP pips, and music player
Play space needed: half a gym floor
