Students will have music playing and the freedom to do the circuit in any order they want. While working to become a better rock climber Assessment of Objectives Students will answer questions based on their experience during the lesson and expand on more ways to help with rock climbing Students will have to get their workout signed off by the teacher to ensure all stations were done Students will be asked question on their experience what exercises did they like, which ones didn’t they like. Students will explain how these exercises can help them improve as a rock climber. The purpose of the circuit training is to meet the standards of muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, balance, and aerobic fitness. We are training for rock climbing so working on flexibility and mobility. Students will do this 3 times Station 2 human wheel barrel - 2 cones set apart by 5 yards. Feel the music Students will human wheel barrel forward and back. Both partners will do this. Station 4 med ball throws - Students will do 3 sets of 10 reps for each med ball throw. 1 from knees, 1 from sitting legs flat, 1 from squat. 1 twist side throws. Station 5 pcp pipe squats - 3 sets of 10 PCP pipe overhead squats. Station 6 jumps - 3 sets on 5 lungs jumps/ squat jumps Cool down jog one lap, walk one lap 2 minutes Closure and assessment T OOOOOO Group discussion on how the exercises we did can relate to rock climbing.
