Spanish II

advertisement
Livingston County Curriculum Document
SUBJECT: Spanish II
Grade: 10-12
Big Idea: Spanish II students will continue with the same textbook and workbook format as they develop their ability to speak, read,
write and listen in more advance Spanish. A large part of the time in Spanish II is spent on more advanced conjugations and verb
forms, learning to construct grammatically correct sentences and questions, plus continually learning vast amounts of vocabulary.
Spanish II student must learn to retain much of what they have learned without written assistance in order to communicate verbally.
(There is a possibility that I will have Spanish II students in my classes that have not had any Spanish for a year or two. In this case, I
prepare the entire class for oral and written assessment of everything learned in Spanish I.)
Academic Expectations: 2:28 Students understand and communicate in a second language.
