What
The conference is built upon four key features: Internationalism,
Interdisciplinarity, Inclusiveness, and Interaction. Conference
delegates include leaders in the field as well as emerging artists
and scholars, who travel to the conference from all corners of the
globe and represent a broad range of disciplines and perspectives.
A variety of presentation options and session types offer delegates
multiple opportunities to engage, to discuss key issues in the field,
and to build relationships with scholars from other cultures and
disciplines.
‘What Counts as Learning? Big Data, Little Data, Evidence
and Assessment’
As students undertake more of their learning in computermediated environments, an evolving cluster of technologies and
associated pedagogical processes offer great promise to provide
solutions to some longstanding practical challenges in the field of
education. The larger potential of continuous formative and
progress assessment based on many small datapoints is to make
redundant summative assessment in its traditional forms, or at
least to supplement traditional summative assessments in a way
that compensates for their intrinsic limitations.
For the 22nd International Conference of Europeanists, we
welcome papers that relate to the theme of “contradictions.” For its
2015 Conference, the Council calls for proposals that examine
opposing tendencies in European history, society, and politics.

ACA’s Annual Conferences bring together central actors and
decision-makers in higher education, such as rectors, vice-rectors,
faculty and international relations staff, as well as policy-makers
and practitioners from government departments, international
institutions, non-governmental organisations and think tanks.
The world comes together at NAFSA's Annual Conference &
Expo, where international education professionals come to hone
their skills, gain new knowledge, build strategic partnerships, and
ensure that their institutions and organizations stay at the forefront
of the field.
Join leaders in academia, K-12 education, business, government,
and the NGO sectors for timely research and discussion of
national human resource needs and strategies for enabling U.S.
educational institutions to address the broad national policy goals
to:
 Ensure a globally competent citizenry and workforce
 Strengthen the U.S. ability to solve global problems
 Produce international experts and knowledge for national
needs
The AIEA Forum, "Developing Institutional Strategies for Growing
Global Research," will bring together Senior International Officers
(SIOs), Vice Presidents for Research (VPRs), Graduate Deans,
other university administrators and key faculty to identify best
practices for developing institutional strategies for globalizing the
research mission of the university.
This year's sessions address a range of topics that balance theory
and practice, and promise to encourage rigorous reflection,
stimulate lively dialogue and explore the new and emerging
paradigms shaping education abroad. As the premier gathering
for education abroad professionals and faculty, the annual
conference brings together colleagues who value critical thinking,
enriching conversation, and a strong commitment to the Standards
of Good Practice for Education Abroad.

ACADEMY
The rapid pace of innovation and the increasingly complex nature
of the systems that manage and direct human experience has led
to the gradual realization that not bullion or oil, but rather
intellectual capital will become the most important commodity of
the 21st century. This global recalibration of what is necessary to
fuel human progress, push the boundaries of knowledge and even
extend profits requires, as a fundamental enabler, international
higher education.
