CIRCUIT TRAINING
FOR WOMEN
Knocking off those stubborn pounds can be done best by good circuit training and a few
stretches. Circuit training involves all the fat burning exercises. It has enough variety to
keep you interested long enough. This class can be a great motivating factor for you, and
thereby shed your excess weight.

the great stress their joints and ligaments undergo in conventional aerobics, which can
result in injury and pain. However, because the body gets buoyant in water, and less stress
is put on joints and ligaments, it not only reduces the chances of injury, but people can
actually enjoy their workout. This class can be a great motivating factor for you, and

Do your kids enjoy swimming? Swimming is popular as an all-around fitness routine and
as a competitive sport. This program is open to anyone between the ages of 5 and 17 with
moderate to advance swimming skills. Our goal is to teach and improve the competitive
strokes, promote physical fitness, promote team spirit, and develop a positive attitude
towards competition. Participants of this team will become a member of, and swim in the
South Florida Recreational Swim League.

EASTER EGG HUNT
The City of Riviera Beach Parks & Recreation Department will be having an
Easter egg hunt for the kids. There will be hundreds of eggs filled with candy
and toys. We will also have the Easter Bunny on hand to greet the kids and to
take pictures with. So bring the kids out to our beautiful Municipal Beach and
let them search for all of the surprises that the Easter Bunny has hidden.

The 1st Annual Youth Fishing Day
HOOKED ON FISHING
The 1st Annual Youth Fishing Day: Calling the first one hundred and fifty youth
that enjoy or want to learn how fish. The 1st Annual Youth Fishing Day is just for
you. Join the City of Riviera Beach Parks and Recreation for fundamental activities
and clinics. The day will consist of educational stations for casting, fish habitats,
fishing environment and fishing from the Platoon Boat (Trident). Don’t delay,
there are limited slots available. Each participant will receive a rod and reel , and
a tackle kit at the end of the program.

The Parks and Recreation department invites everyone 55 and older to join the ST.A.R.S.
(Stimulating and Remarkable Seniors) program. Monday through Friday the STARS
program offers different activities including tennis lessons, arts and crafts, Pokeno and
other card games, luncheons, and a variety of trips. We will also have guess speakers come
out time to time to talk about various health issues. Hot meals are offered to anyone 60
and older through The Palm Beach County Division of Senior Services Hot Meal Program.
So come out and socialize with your fellow peers.
