Homework
If your child is ever stuck or doesn't understand a piece of homework I
am more than happy to go through it with them at break/lunchtime.
Just write a note on the homework or come to speak with me if you
think this is the case.

Spellings
Each week looks at a different 'spelling rule'
Based on the statutory list of spelling words for Key Stage 2
Spellings

Reading
All children should have a reading book from school.
However, this doesn't necessarily have to be read at home as long as
children are reading at home.
Children should write the book they are reading in their reading record
(including books from home).
Try to listen to your child read even if they are a fluent reader.
Reading
Reading target ladders will no longer be used in school and therefore won't
be stuck into reading records.
Reading for enjoyment.
I will assess reading mainly through comprehension activities.
