Homework Due Day Monday Reading - Tuesday Spellings Activity Friday Wednesday Maths Monday Thursday Reading - Friday Literacy/Topic* Tuesday *Sometimes there will be topic homework that is to be completed over a number of weeks. Spellings Each week looks at a different 'spelling rule' Based on the statutory list of spelling words for Key Stage 2 Spellings Look, Cover, Write, Check Reading All children should have a reading book from school. However, this doesn't necessarily have to be read at home as long as children are reading at home. Children should write the book they are reading in their reading record (including books from home). Try to listen to your child read even if they are a fluent reader. Reading Reading target ladders will no longer be used in school and therefore won't be stuck into reading records. Reading for enjoyment. I will assess reading mainly through comprehension activities.
