mislaying the medicine, giving out the wrong dosage, giving patient a medicine that they
are allergic to. The article is important to my research because David indicates all the
reasons I want to talk about in my research paper such as wrong medication giving to the
patients. The main limitation of the article is the side affects of the patient after giving out
the wrong and life threatening medicine. The authors overall look is pointing out the
outcomes of the nurses and doctors that make mistakes in giving out the wrong dosage
and mislabeling the medicines. David J. Berg is very clear and easy to be understood

Medication is given out to a patient but it is intended to be given to a patient, such
confusion happens daily in California. In this article several different doctors are
concentrating upon errors by given out to the patience therefore there are various study
included in the article from multiple universities. There research focuses on providing
cognitive support though interfere design for patient selection can reduce the frequency
of harmful outcomes, thereby improving performances and safety. This article is useful in
my research paper because it provides me with charts and the way doctors and nurses
give out the medication for their patients. The overall look is to have a new way of
distributing the medicine to the patience, which is a better way then, how it is given out
now. This article will fit in my research because of various charts it is given in the article
by several doctors.
Lawrence J. Schneiderman, M.D., and Nancy S. Jecker. Publication Year: 2011 “Wrong
Medicine”
In this book Lawrence J. Schneiderman and Nancy S. Jecker are indication the wrongs
and the high points of medical futility what it was and what it is now. The authors give
examples of the unfortunate incidents that have occurred in the past by giving out the
wrong medicine to the patients. Their research focuses on hospitals that have made the
mistake of giving the wrong medication and giving examples of the doctor’s mistakes.
This article is very useful to me because it gives various examples of the doctor’s
mistakes and outcome of the patient was followed with the wrong medication. The
overlook of the book is the examples the both authors give that prove the carelessness of
the hospitals and the doctors, which causes the patients to have terrible outcomes. The
book illuminates my research paper because it has many examples of past patients who
had bad experiences with the carelessness of the doctor’s hands.
