Diagram Design At- Home Project Project Description: Students are asked to create a poster-sized diagram of something they want to learn more about. They can be familiar with it (such as an electronic device or fourwheeler), or they may want to research something they are not familiar with (such as a honey bee or the layers of the Earth.) Students will label the parts of the object and describe the function of each part (see examples.) The diagrams should be large and detailed enough to explain the function of the different parts. Students will also need to write a topic paragraph which will give a basic explanation of the object in the diagram and its purpose.
