The Iota Gamma Chapter of Sigma Nu Fraternity is offering two $500
scholarships this year. This is in order to help male students who are coming to
Mississippi State University by easing financial concerns. The scholarship is a $500

The MAS County Employee Scholarship Program was established to benefit high
school seniors entering their freshman year of college in 2016. Students with an
immediate relative (parent, stepparent, grandparent, step-grandparent, legal guardian or
spouse) currently working for or retired from a Mississippi county are eligible to apply.
(Immediate relatives of county elected officials are not eligible.) For the 2015-16
school year, MAS will award up to two (2) $500 scholarships per county to family
members of county employees, according to the level of participation by the county in

The MS Council of the Blind of North MS is offering a $500 scholarship for a blind or
legally blind student, or the child of a blind or legally blind parent. Students interested

This scholarship program is available to graduating high school seniors who plan to
major in a medical career and live in Lee county school district. Applications can be
picked up in the counseling department. The recipient will complete the semester at an
accredited institution of higher learning in a medical major field of study. The official
grades for that semester will be sent to the NMHS Employment Services Department
and the recipient will be sent a check in the amount of $500.00. This will be repeated
for four semesters for a total of $2,000.00. The student signs an agreement to remain in
a medical major and in the accredited institution maintaining a status of good standing
and a 2.5 GPA. The recipient is not required to apply for NMHS employment as a

The Rotary Committee will select one THS graduate who has an excellent
record of academic and extracurricular achievement, but who may not receive
