with help of operating system we can able to control input and
output devices such as keyboard, printer .It helps to organise

behaves in a flexible manner. Microsoft windows is an example
of an operating system.

BATCH SYSTEM
It is the computer software that performs job scheduling .
its primary tasks is to allocate computational tasks i.e
batch jobs among the available computer resources. It is
also used in cluster environment.
REAL TIME SYSTEM
A computer that performs to input signals fast enough to keep an
operation moving at its required speed . It is a type of system in
which a computer must react a steady speed so that the whole
work goes on with any interruption
MULTI TASKING SYSTEM
Multitasking system refers to an operating system in which multiple
processes can take place on a single time without inferring with
each other.
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BATCH ,REAL AND MULTI
TASKING SYSTEM.
For a batch system, the key goal is to move through a large data set as
efficiently as possible.
The function real-time system is to recover and update individual
records with minimum delay
Main function of multi tasking system is to support so many programs at
a single time
Batch systems execute a sequence of steps without external inputs
Real-time systems wait for user input between steps in a transaction.
Multi tasking system shares common processing resources such CPU

The minimum usually means how much the operating system itself needs, in
order to have your computer not lag you would need to double the
requirements.

SYSTEM.HOWEVER ONCE THE COMPUTER WAS BUILT AND THE
OPERATING SYSTEM WAS BOOKED UP , THE COMPUTER WORKED
AS THE CLIENT REQURIED .IT IS READY TO USE AGAIN FOR INTERNET
CAFE BUSINESS . NO OTHER PROBLEMS WERE NOTED WHEN THE
COMPUTER WAS TESTED.

1>Install and test a new operating system such as Windows 7
or XP
The computer is not able to install windows so we tried
ubuntu linux to install in computer. The system
requirements needed for windows were far too great for
the computer and asked for something it didn't have,
because linux is such a low resource operating system we
tried that instead and success.
The purpose of virtual memory is to enlarge the address space, the set of addresses a program can utilize. For
example, virtual memory might contain twice as many addresses as main memory. A program using all of
virtual memory, therefore, would not be able to fit in main memory all at once. Nevertheless, the computer
could execute such a program by copying into main memory those portions of the program needed at any
given point during execution
