Examples include: Car schemes and help with transport Social groups and activities Befriending schemes Practical help around the home Community Navigators work across the county supporting older and vulnerable people to find solutions which support people to stay independent, safe and well. The Community Navigators match older and vulnerable people with a local volunteer, who has been police-checked, trained and knows what services and activities are available. They can meet people in their home, in the local community or at a drop-insession.
