Meeting called to order at 7:05 PM by President Pro-tem Sweet.
Roll Call: Cain, Knaggs, Sweet, Faulk, Laba, Pattee and Fritz.
Absent: Fritz
Also Present: Justin Faber and Jerry Ostrowski.
The Treasurer went over the totals of the Budget item lines for the General Budget Proposal 2014.
There were no public comments.
Motioned by Laba and supported by Cain to accept the resolution for the 2014 Budget as proposed and read
for approval of full council at the regular council meeting to follow.
ROLL CALL VOTE: Cain, Faulk, Fritz, Knaggs, Laba, Pattee and Sweet.
6 Yeas, 0 Nays, 1 Absent, 0 Abstained.
Motion to adjourn this meeting at 7:07PM. Motion Faulk and support by Knaggs.
The December Regular meeting was now called to order by President Pro-tam Sweet.

Also Present: Justin Faber and Jerry Ostrowski.
Motion by Knaggs, support by Cain to amend this meeting to include the Bon Fire and Fire Works for
12/31/13. Passed
Motion by Pattee, support by Laba to approve the November 20, 2013 Regular Council minutes as written.
Motion by Labs, support by Pattee to approve the Treasurers Report. Passed
Motion by Knaggs supported by Faulk to pay the bills. Passed
Motion by Knaggs, support by Faulk to approve the proposed budget for 2014, Resolution #2014-02 and to
adopt the 2014 Budget. Passed.
There was NO Fire report for this monthly meeting. Fire Chief is absent.
Motion by Faulk supported by Laba to approve the DPW Report. Passed
New Business: The Clerk discussed the contract with Waste Management with council. Motion by Knaggs
supported by Laba to continue the contract with Waste Manage as written in their contract.
Passed.
The Clerk discussed with council the County CGAP grant proposal, and authorized the Clerk to
fill out the form and sign it and send back to the county.
The Clerk reminded council the deadlines for Home Decoration and Color contest ends on
12/19/13.
Old Business: Reminders on the Water Study Meeting, 1/08/2014. Noon for President and DPW, and 6:00 PM
for all of the council members. A planning Commission meeting is set for 1/9/14 at 7:00 PM.
Correspondence: Council member Knaggs spoke about the Tractor Pull for the summer of 2014. It will be held
the same weekend as this years. The cost is approximately $8100.00. There will be the same
classes that we had this year, possible more. He asked for a motion and support to get things
rolling and get Carsonville on their list. Motion from Cain, supported by Faulk. Passed.
Council member Knaggs also asked for a motion for the payment for the Fire Works, to Steve
Kursinski in the amount of $2000.00. Bon Fire is at 8PM, fire Works are at 10PM. The Fire
Department will be there to help set off the Fire Works. Motion by Faulk, support by Cain.
Passed.
Next Regular Council meeting will be on 1/15/2014.

Public Comments: Justin Faber gave council a brief update on the County Jail, Windows in the Court House,
their 2014 Budget, Board meeting dates, the Union Contracts with County employees. He asked
also if the Village would like to do recycling in the Village.
