Timetable
• Attendance to all laboratory activities is
compulsory according to faculty regulations
• Two justified (medical, etc.) absences are allowed
with the condition of recovering for lost classes
by the end of the semester
• The last week of the semester will be dedicated
to recovering one lost activity (one class)
• The other lost class must be recovered in the
same week they were unattended (with other
groups)

• Final mark is only calculated if all laboratory
activities have been attended by the end of

• Misbehavior during activities will not be
tolerated and any violators will be asked to
leave the classroom, being marked as absent
for the respective week.

Samsung room (E04) – How to?
• Authentication info:
– User: statiaxx, where xx ∈ [1..28] and is you
station number from the address you are
connecting to
– Password: pwd123!@#
• Revealing the authentication info to third
parties, connecting to other VMs than your
own or connecting to the VMs from outside of
the laboratory will result in expulsion from the
faculty (no warning system is in place)
Samsung room (E04) – How to?
• The following will lead to instant re-contracting
the Applied Informatics discipline:
– Changing the password of the VM
– Changing any setting of the VM (others than
instructed)
– Deleting files that do not belong to you on the VM
– 9gag, Facebook, YouTube… and so on!
Represents an individual or group task that needs to be done
during the laboratory. The accomplishment of the tasks will
be randomly evaluated each time!
