EIGHTH GRADE “GRADVENTURE” TRIP - 2016 Dear Parents and Students, As we prepare for our 8th grade “Gradventure” field trip to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure on May 20, 2016, the following information will be reviewed with all participants. Please review the information as a family as well. Our students are some of the BEST in Pinellas County. Please help them understand that their overall conduct will be on display while on the bus and at the theme parks. The Code of Student Conduct is in effect for this trip. Any violations of the Code of Student Conduct or the rules below during the trip will result in students going to a holding area for the duration of the trip. A referral will be given and may affect the student’s participation in the remaining school activities (dance, talent show, etc.). “Gradventure” Cost The cost of the trip is $115.00 (cash or check), which includes transportation on a charter coach bus, an OMS Gradventure t-shirt, admission to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, and a dinner voucher. However, students may want to bring extra money for extra food/drinks or souvenirs. (The cost of the trip did go up $15 since last year due to an increase in park admission and transportation costs, sorry. Please know we do NOT make any profit from this event).
