The General Meeting of the Panhellenic Council of Bradley University met on Sunday,
September 12, 2010 in Student Center 203. All chapters were present. The meeting was
called to order at 7:02 p.m.
Executive Reports:
Kate Green, Vice President:
-joint council dates the same
-after grand chapter joint council after
-Smith Career/Greek Networking Event: 5 separate events all in one night Nov 18th
education,engineer, business, nursing, commun at fraternity 6:30-7
Rachel Smith, Director of Correspondence:
-no report, hopefully the google.doc idea is a good one!
Jenny Nguyen, Director of Finance:
-Budget was emailed to you, please check it over and email me back if its okay or needs to be
changed
Melanie Gunn, Director of Academics:
-Revised Grand Chapter Award Applications sent out this week
-Working on obtaining judges for Grand Chapter Awards and Incentives
-Any ideas for incentives, please let me know!
-Nov 21st 7-10pm in New Arena grand chapter combined fraternities and sorority.

-Report what you did during Philanthropy rounds online (http://bugreeklife.com/philanthropyservice-submission) - only what your women did, not the PNM’s
-So.... total? We have quite a few chapters that are way over total. We may need to have a
discussion soon regarding extension/raising total.
-BM fallout and prep. We looked really bad after having two of our community members sent to
the hospital last Monday. We will need to talk about how we can change the culture of alcohol
abuse following bid acceptance. Start thinking of ways you can address this within your chapter
(if you are not doing so already).

-Student Fight Back (self-defence strategies)- Mon, September 13 2010 7:00 AM - 8:30 PM,
Neumiller. It’s cool, and fun, I highly recommend. Seriously, go.
-A Rape Aggression Defense ( R.A.D.) self-defense class for adult females will be held on
September 22nd, October 1st and October 4th from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Markin Center room 20.
Limited space is available in the class. Participants must complete each session for a total of
nine hours. Sign up at the Campus Police Department between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. For more
information contact Sgt. Sean Davis at ext. 2000 after 3 p.m.
