Communication Technology Personal Timeline Assignment
A Timeline is a line showing important events in the order in which they occurred.
Use Microsoft Excel to create a timeline of the History of Communication (Technology). You
may have to download the Timeline template from Microsoft online. To start Excel and
download the template: Open Microsoft Excel and search Microsoft Office online for a
template. In the text box, type the word "TIMELINE".
***You may decide to design your timeline using another program or by hand. You
can do this, but it must be polished and presentable***
Your timeline must include what you think are the top 10 most important events in
communication technology history. We have already looked at a few major events,
however, you will need to do some research to find out about more developments. Your
timeline title should be '(your name)'s Top Ten Moments in Communication Technology
History'. Each event must include a date, a brief description, and a picture.
When done save your timeline to your Google Classroom folder on your Google Drive as
'[Your Name] CommTech Timeline'. After you have done that, please share this file with me
so that I can see it! Alternatively, you can email me your completed assignment from your
TPS Email ONLY.
I have included a list of sources that you can use to help your research for this assignment.
If you use any other websites or resources, please make sure you save the URL
(website) and include the link somewhere on your assignment.
