Examples: Jessica jumps over a bush. (present) Jessica jumped over a bush. (past) Jessica will jump over a bush. (future) A suffix is at the end of a base/root word. It changes the meaning of the word. Examples: spotless - without spots; careful – full of care; lightly – in a light way; happiness – the state of being happy beautiful wireless illness kindness fairness daily spotless painful worthless safely quietly helpful finally cheerful suddenly Write words 5x each for 5 bonus points. UP Denominator – tells the total number of equal parts. It is the number on bottom.
