Mathematics Here is the updated syllabus for the Algebra 2 class. We will be going through the topics in the order listed. 1- Determining Solutions means that Example 1 from 1.1 covers this topic and the practice problems associated with this concept are 1-4 8- Finding the equation of a circle means that Example 8 from 1.1 covers this topic and practice problems associated with this concept are 49-62 The practice problems will be checked the day after the lesson is addressed in class. Remember to inform the teacher about any concerns from any of the lessons. Review the examples before coming to class. Also remember that the videos are available online for this particular class. Seek to do all the odd problems for each section we cover. The suggested practice problems cover a lot of problems but specific problems will be picked and given for practice purposes. If you are still not proficient in the material then do the even problems. After doing that if you want more practice problems speak with the teacher. Set aside at least 15-30 minutes during the week to do practice problems. We will do some practice problems in class. Practice problems are available at the end of the chapter. The problems are grouped into sections and they are arranged in a manner that is similar to the examples in the Section. Seek to read the whole lesson before coming to class to prepare your mind for the concept. We will do a few examples in class as well as review questions at the end of the practice problems. More examples will be done on the board at lunch on Mondays Please let me know if you have any questions. 4
