Study Group
The Driver’s Handbook study group
has started to meet. This group is led
by a volunteer tutor who is helping
the participants to understand the
road signs and rules of the road in
preparation to write the test for their
Learner’s License. The format of the
course allows learners to attend
classes and then schedule the test on
their own when they feel ready. If
you, or someone you know, may
benefit from this study group call us
at (902)543-0488. Space is limited.

GED Preparation:
Instructed Course
Do you want to complete your GED?
Are you interested in an instructed
course? The course will be offered
on Tuesday evenings from 5:30 to
7:30. The goal is to offer 30-hours of
instruction time to prepare you to
write the math portion of the GED.
The GED is moving towards online
testing. A benefit to this system is
that learners will be able to write the
tests one at a time. This allows you
to focus on one subject, rather than
writing all five test over two days.
Feedback from areas already using
the computerized testing has been
positive. They have found that even
people with limited computer skills
are able to complete the tests. If you
are worried about your computer
skills – no need to stress – we can
help you with that too!
The new computerized testing centre
for Bridgewater is set to be open in
March. It will be up to learners to
register to write the tests when they
feel ready to do so.
If you are interested in this instructed
course call us to schedule an
assessment (902) 543-0488. Starting
in February. Limited Seats.
(30+ words = excellent, 26 words = very good,
22 words = good)
