At least 15 cards on each supporting question. Use one note card for each fact. Write it in your own words. Write fact in the fewest words possible. This helps avoid plagiarism. Do not use unnecessary words: the, he, is, etc. Don’t forget to note the source! Research Question: How did Hitler compare to Stalin? Supporting Questions: 1) Who was Hitler? Who was Stalin? 2) What did each do to gain power? 3) What did each do to run government? If you have two authors (Smith and Lace). If no author, use title: (“Winston Churchill”). If using a book, include page #: (Smith 49). If the title is very long, you may use key words No commas If you have 2 sources with no authors and the same exact titles, you must use next piece of information from purple sheet, usually a database title or website title.
