Flashcards Chapter 27 Directions: For Brinkley chapters 1-32 you are required to create a series of flashcards in order to prepare you for the AP US History exam in May. On one side of the card the term or concept should be labeled and on the back each notecard should have the following information: Who/what When (Time period) Where Why Significance of the person or concept It is recommended that you purchase a 5” X 7” card and cut the card in half vertically. If you choose to use a 4”x6” card that is fine, however, it is NOT recommended that you cut the smaller card in half. Flashcards may not be typed unless special permission is given. There are a variety of extra resources outside of the textbook that will help you complete these assignments. You should use Brinkley as your first source and then these websites as secondary sources. http://www.flashcardexchange.com/cards/ap-us-history-note-cards-all-1600-2115608 http://www.apstudent.com/ushistory/cards.php http://quizlet.com/2898188/ap-us-history-flashcards-flash-cards/ Tehran Conference Chiang Kai Shek Marshall Plan NATO Taft-Harley Act McCarran Internal Security Act Yalta Conference Containment National Security Act, 1947 GI Bill Syngman Rhee Joseph McCarthy Potsdam Conference Truman Doctrine Berlin Airlift Fair Deal Truman-MacArthur Controversy HUAC
