Gothic subculture is a
contemporary subculture
found in many countries. It
originated in the United
Kingdom during the early
1980s in the gothick rock
scene, as an offshoot of the
post-punk genre. Gothic
subculture has survived much
longer than others of the same
era, and has continued to
diversify. Its imagery and
cultural proclivities indicate
the influence of the nineteenth
century gothic literature
together with horror movies
and, to a less extent, BDSM
culture.
Styles of clothes within the
subculture range from deathrock,
punk, androgynous,Victorian, some
Renaissance and Medieval style
clothes, or combinations of the
above, most often with black
attire, make-up and hair.
Emo means emotional. They wear
an unusual style: they prefer the
combination of black and pink.
There is a bandage on their hand ,
a strap with a big buckle, a bag
with different signs “Emo”. Emoboys usually wear tight jeans
with many different bright rivets.
Emo-girls usually use black or
silver to vanish their nails . They
also wear bracelets with skulls.
They use a black pencil to make
their eyes more expressive.
Emo usually don’t smoke, don’t drink alcohol, don’t use
drugs. They are always vegetarians. They like old style in
clothes, especially checked clothes. An emo is a person,
who likes to express his or her feelings and emotions.
Specialists say that it doesn’t matter what clothes you
wear as you can be an emo inside. They usually have their
own opinions and they don’t try to be like other people.
They are very positive people. Emo usually cry when they
feel bad and laugh when they feel wonderful.
Glamour (beauty,
charm) is rich clothes
and life style. It’s often
pink colors and many
jewelers. People who like
glamour always take
care of themselves.
Glamour style is also very
beautiful girls and boys. They
usually take a good care of
themselves in order to look
perfect and smart. Glamour
people don’t always have only
wonderful appearance but they
are often very kind. Everybody
likes glamour people because
they are very friendly and
cheerful. They can help you
when you are in trouble. They
also like to have a rest with their
friends. They are fond of parties
and amusements.
Rapping (also known as
emceeing, MCing,
spitting, or just
rhyming) is the
rhythmic spoken
delivery of rhymes ,
wordplay, and poetry,
one of the elements of
hip hop music and
culture.
Rapping developed both inside and
outside of hip hop culture, and began
with the street parties thrown in the
Bronx neighborhood of New York in
the 70s by Jamaican expatriate Kool
Herk and others. The parties
introduced dancehall and the practice
of having a "Master of Ceremonies," or
MC, They appeared on the stage with
the DJ and shouted encouragements to
the crowd (in practice known as
'toasting‘). Soon those shouts of
encouragement became longer and
more complex and cross-pollinated
with the spoken-word poetry scene to
evolve into rap.
Tecktonik (also known as "tck","electro dance"
"vertigo", "Milky Way") is a form of dance based
on a blend of techno styles (late 80s vogue, 90s
waving and old school breakdancing). The music
Tecktonik usually dances to is Electro house.
Tecktonic has not succeeded in creating its own
musicgenre , even though multiple attempts have
been made.. Tecktonik originated in Paris, France
and has grown in popularity through word-ofmouth and video sharing sites such as Dailymotion
and YouTube.
The term Tecktonik is also a registered
trademark. This is the first time that the
name of a dance has been protected in this
way, and this has created issues for dance
events or other uses of the name. However,
Tecktonik is not a music style. The creators of
the Tecktonik brand (most notably, Cyril
Blanc, the artistic director of Metropolis sell
official products, such as clothes, CDs, energy
drinks, etc. Typical dress for Tecktonik
dancers include tight-fitting jackets and slimfit jeans. Dancers also tend to have
"futuristic", sometimes even gothic hair cuts
and sometimes wear make-up designs such as
a star around one eye. The neon colours on
shirts are linked to the London Nu Rave
fashion scene.
