5. So, the “lost sheep” is someone who has strayed from God’s flock. How is he/she brought back? In
other words, what does he/she need to do to come back to God’s flock?

6. In the parable of the lost sheep, Jesus goes and finds the sheep. If Jesus is the one
who brings the lost sheep/person back, who actually leads us to repent? In other
words, do we come to the realization that we are lost and need to repent on our
own or does God bring us to that realization and then move us to repent?

picture and answer the questions below.
25. What do you notice about the left side of the picture? Describe the color and the reality it
communicates. What kind of place is it? Is it a place you’d want to live?
26. What do you see on the back side of the large center rock? Why do think the artist put that object
(hint it’s a person doing something) there?
27. What do you notice about the direction the man in the center is headed? Is he headed toward the
darkness or light? Where is he coming from? What do you think the author is trying to communicate
