How do you think Ponyboy feels after Cherry tells him, “…if I see you in the hall at school or someplace and don’t say hi, well it’s not personal or anything…” Discuss Johnny’s quote on pg. 48 – “It seems there’s gotta be someplace without greasers or Socs, with just people. Plain ordinary people.” What happens between Darry and Pony at the end of Chapter Three?
